Amor por los Capibaras

Saludos querida comunidad, quería contarles que hace unos días hice un amigurumi de capibara y lo compartí en un tutorial, si bien es cierto que ya no hago tantos amigurumis como antes porque el precio del material se ha elevado mucho mientras que lamentablemente nuestra moneda de la plataforma ha bajado, también debo decir que mi único financiamiento para seguir tejiendo es Hive por eso suelo publicar los resultados de mis trabajos en otras redes invitando que visiten mi tutorial, casi nunca vendo nada y muy pocas veces al año tengo algún encargo, pero mi amor por este arte es tal que aun me niego a darme por vencida y por eso estoy muy agradecida con la plataforma, asi que como en otras ocasiones luego de publicar el tutorial del capibara subi las fotos diciendo que el tutorial estaba gratis en mi blog en Hive y que si querían un comprar un capibara estaba disponible para encargos.

Greetings, dear community! I wanted to tell you that a few days ago I made a capybara amigurumi and shared it in a tutorial. While it's true that I don't make as many amigurumi as before because the price of materials has risen significantly, while unfortunately our platform currency has decreased, I must also say that my only source of funding to continue crocheting is Hive. That's why I usually post the results of my work on other networks, inviting people to visit my tutorial. I almost never sell anything, and I only receive a few commissions a year, but my love for this art is such that I refuse to give up, and for that I am very grateful to the platform. So, as on other occasions, after publishing the capybara tutorial, I uploaded photos saying that the tutorial was free on my Hive blog and that if you wanted to buy a capybara, it was available for commission.

Mi gran sorpresa es que mi hermana a verlo me quiso comprar el que ya tenía hecho y además otra persona me encargó dos, me alegró muchísimo pues casi nunca repito amigurumis precisamente por la falta de ventas, puse lo mejor de mi y logré hacer los otros dos en solo dos días, en el primer día hice total las partes y al siguiente hice todas las costuras, el resultado me encantó porque quedaron exactamente iguales, es decir no hubo ninguna variación en la tensión del hilo, algo que nos puede suceder a los tejedores cuando tenemos varias horas corridas trabajando.

My biggest surprise was that my sister, upon seeing it, wanted to buy the one I had already made, and another person even ordered two more. I was overjoyed because I almost never repeat amigurumi precisely because of the lack of sales. I put my best effort into it and managed to make the other two in just two days. On the first day, I made all the pieces, and on the next day, I did all the sewing. I loved the result because they turned out exactly the same; that is, there was no variation in the yarn tension, something that can happen to knitters when we work for several hours straight.

Por otro lado el capibara para mi hermana tiene una variación, esta es que ella me pidió que le hiciera un lazo rosa o cualquier otro detalle que hiciera que el capibara se viera femenino, esto me dio mucha risa pero entiendo que a mi hermana le encanta el color rosado y las cosas tiernas, así que en lugar de un lazo decidí bordarle una rosa con hilo color rosado pálido, el resultado igualmente le encantó a ella y hoy por fin hice las dos entregas. No saben la emoción que siento por haber vendido los tres capibaras pues a veces me entristece que no he podido vivir de mi arte o hacer que sea un negocio que se sostenga a si mismo con las ventas en todos estos años, espero algún día pueda tener mas ventas que me permitan seguir comprando materiales y tener una buena ganancia. ¡Abrazos para todos!

On the other hand, the capybara for my sister has a variation. She asked me to add a pink bow or some other detail to make it look feminine. This made me laugh, but I understand that my sister loves pink and cute things, so instead of a bow, I decided to embroider a rose with pale pink thread. She loved the result just as much, and today I finally made both deliveries. You can't imagine how excited I am to have sold all three capybaras. Sometimes it saddens me that I haven't been able to make a living from my art or turn it into a self-sustaining business all these years. I hope that one day I'll have more sales that will allow me to continue buying materials and make a good profit. Hugs to everyone!
