Saludos querida comunidad, estoy muy complacida de compartir con ustedes lo que sería la finalización del proyecto de One Piece y no podía ser de otra manera que haciendo el primer barco de la tripulación, es decir el querido Going Merry quien fue el compañero de incontables aventuras y cuyas heridas de batalla fueron muy fuertes, esta fue una oportunidad increíble para poner en práctica todas mis habilidades y sin duda es uno de los trabajos que más he disfrutado realizar, espero les guste.

Greetings dear community, I am very pleased to share with you what would be the completion of the One Piece project and it could not be any other way than making the first ship of the crew, that is, the beloved Going Merry who was the companion of countless adventures and whose battle wounds were very strong, this was an incredible opportunity to put all my skills into practice and it is undoubtedly one of the jobs that I have enjoyed doing the most, I hope you like it.

Proceso / Process

Primero comencé haciendo el casco de este barco que es una carabela, con hilo marrón medio hice 16 cadenas, sobre estas trabajé haciendo 2 aumentos dobles en cada punta por siete hileras, obteniendo así 88 puntadas, luego hice 6 hileras de puntos bajos solamente, agregué el hilo gris e hice 3 hileras y luego cambié nuevamente al hilo marrón en hice una hilera más, luego solo en la proa y en la popa hice 30 puntos bajos por cinco hileras.

Para la cubierta hice 26 cadenas, procedí del mismo modo a hacer 2 aumentos dobles en cada punta por siete hileras, luego hice 3 hileras sin aumentos y cosí la cubierta al casco. Posteriormente con hilo blanco hice puntos deslizados por el borde, tanto en la proa como en la popa hice puntos altos separados por cadenas, luego hice una hilera de puntos bajos por todo el borde.

First, I started making the hull of this caravel ship. With medium brown yarn, I made 16 chains. Over these, I made two double increases at each point for seven rows, thus obtaining 88 stitches. Then, I made six rows of single crochets only. I added the gray yarn and made three rows, then switched back to the brown yarn and made one more row. Then, only on the bow and stern, I made 30 single crochets for five rows.

For the deck, I made 26 chains. I proceeded in the same way, making two double increases at each point for seven rows. Then, I made three rows without increases and sewed the deck to the hull. Then, with white yarn, I made slip stitches around the edge. On both the bow and stern, I made double crochets separated by chains, then I made a row of single crochets around the entire edge.

Con hilo marrón oscuro hice la base rectangular que va en la cubierta, con hilo verde hice en la parte superior los árboles de mandarina que pertenecen a Nami la navegante, detrás de esto hice el mástil o palo de mesana que el más cercano a la popa haciendo 4 puntos bajos en un anillo y haciendo 34 hileras metiendo por dentro un palillo de altura, para la vela latina es decir la triangular, hice dos cadenas de base con hilo rojo, alterné el hilo rojo y el amarillo claro cada dos hileras, haciendo aumentos en uno de los lados hasta obtener 15 puntadas y 11 franjas de color, uní la vela latina a un palillo de altura haciendo puntos bajos y luego casi al mástil.

Para el mástil o palo mayor que es el central, hice 4 puntos bajos en un anillo y trabajé por seis hileras, luego hice un aumento y trabajé por seis hileras más, luego un aumento e hice 34 hileras, para este mástil usé tres palillos de altura por dentro, para la cofa que es la plataforma del mástil que sirve para vigilancia, hice 8 puntos ajos en un anillo, luego 8 aumentos por dos hileras, luego 5 hileras sin aumentos, cosí la cofa al mástil.

With dark brown yarn, I made the rectangular base that goes on the deck. With green yarn, I made the tangerine trees that belong to Nami the navigator on top. Behind this, I made the mast or mizzenmast closest to the stern, making 4 single crochet stitches in a ring and making 34 rows, inserting a tall stick inside. For the lateen sail, that is, the triangular one, I made two base chains with red yarn. I alternated the red and light yellow yarn every two rows, increasing on one side until I had 15 stitches and 11 colored stripes. I attached the lateen sail to a tall stick, making single crochet stitches, and then almost to the mast.

For the mast or main pole which is the central one, I made 4 single crochet stitches in a ring and worked for six rows, then I made an increase and worked for six more rows, then an increase and made 34 rows, for this mast I used three sticks high on the inside, for the top which is the platform of the mast that serves as a lookout, I made 8 single crochet stitches in a ring, then 8 increases for two rows, then 5 rows without increases, I sewed the top to the mast.

Para el mascarón el barco, con hilo blando hice 6 puntos bajos en un anillo, hice 6 aumentos por seis hileras, coloqué los ojos de plástico, luego hice 6 disminuciones por seis hileras rellenando con fibra antes de cerrar completamente, para los cuernos con hilo marrón hice 4 puntos bajos en un anillo, haciendo dos aumentos para tres hileras hasta obtener 18 puntadas y 24 hileras, rellené lo cuernos y los cosí a la cabeza luego los cosí de forma espiral en la punta. Por debajo levante 12 puntadas e hice una hilera de puntos bajos.

For the figurehead, the ship, with soft yarn I made 6 single crochet stitches in a ring, made 6 increases for six rows, placed the plastic eyes, then made 6 decreases for six rows, filling with fiber before closing completely, for the horns with brown yarn I made 4 single crochet stitches in a ring, making two increases for three rows until obtaining 18 stitches and 24 rows, I filled the horns and sewed them to the head then I sewed them in a spiral at the tip. Underneath I lifted 12 stitches and made a row of single crochet stitches.

Para ala proa con hilo blanco hice 4 puntos bajo en un anillo y luego 10 hileras, hice un aumento por 7 hileras hasta obtener 12 puntadas, trabajé por 30 hileras sin aumentos, luego hice 1 disminución por siete hileras, rellené, luego 4 puntos ajos por 10 hileras, cosí a la proa.

Para el cañón con hilo negro hice 8 puntos bajos en un anillo, 8 aumentos, luego cambié a hilo gris e hice una hilera, luego tomando solo el lado de atrás hice otra hilera de puntos bajos y luego 4 hileras más, rellené y cosí a la proa. Para la popa con hilo blanco hice 4 puntos ajos en un anillo e hice 50 hileras, cosé para hacer la forma del ornamento y bordé los demás detalles.

For the bow, I made 4 single crochet stitches in a ring with white yarn, then 10 rows. I increased for 7 rows until I had 12 stitches. I worked 30 rows without increasing, then 1 decrease for seven rows, stuffed, then 4 garter stitches for 10 rows, and sewed to the bow.

For the cannon, I made 8 single crochet stitches in a ring with black yarn, 8 increases, then switched to gray yarn and made a row. Then, working only the back side, I made another row of single crochet stitches, then 4 more rows, stuffed, and sewed to the bow. For the stern, I made 4 garter stitches in a ring with white yarn, 50 rows, sewed to create the ornament, and embroidered the other details.

Para la vela cuadrada hice 30 cadenas y 36 hileras de puntos bajos, luego bordé en la técnica de punto cruz el símbolo de los piratas sombrero de paja, para las banderas negras pequeñas hice 8 cadenas y 6 hileras de puntos bajos y las cosí a cada mástil.

For the square sail I made 30 chains and 36 rows of single crochet, then I embroidered the straw hat pirate symbol using the cross stitch technique, for the small black flags I made 8 chains and 6 rows of single crochet and sewed them to each mast.
