My Battle with Pest Attacks on the Farm: How Snails, Worms, and Grasshoppers Damaged My Bitter Leaf Plants and the Steps I Took to Save Them🌱🌱
Hello 👋 Hivers
For the past week, I have been battling pest attack on my farm. It has not been easy at all. Farming comes with its own challenges, and one of them is pest infestation. This time around, the attack was quite intense, and it affected some of my crops negatively. I had to put in extra effort to identify the cause and take action immediately.
I also noticed pest attack on my bitter leaf plant. This was very disturbing because the bitter leaf is one of the crops I take time to nurture. The leaves were eaten up and was very skinny. I was shocked to see how badly affected the plant had become in such a short time. I knew I had to do something quickly to salvage the situation before it spread to other nearby crops.
On closer observation, I saw pest like snails, worms, and grasshoppers which fed on the plants. These pests were very active and had already done a lot of damage. I could see the bite marks and the holes in the leaves. The snails left slimy trails, and the worms were hiding under the leaves and around the roots. It was quite disheartening.
To control the situation, I used a pesticide named Kabadii to apply on it. I followed the instructions carefully and sprayed it evenly on the affected areas. I’m hoping to see positive results in the coming days. This experience has taught me to be more observant and proactive when it comes to pest management. Regular inspection and quick intervention is very important.
I’ll continue to monitor the plants and provide updates as things improve. Thanks for reading, and I hope my experience helps other farmers out there facing similar issues.
Stay strong, and happy farming!
