Everybody has a subject he like the most and does well in. For me that subject was mathematics many refer to it as the ALMIGHTY MATHEMATICS because mathematics in general has proven to be tough.

The truth is that mathematics has not always been easy for me. Before I continue I will like to introduce you to where everything started.
Praise-El International School.
When I was in primary school 4 I was not good in mathematics. I wa not bad either but I know I was not in my best level all I did was just copy and paste solutions. Everything changed in primary 5 when I my school decided to employ a new mathematics teacher, Mr. Victor. The first two weeks he ✋ us in maths, he just took his time to explain the basics and the foundation of mathematics I'm general which was what we were lacking.
After each lesson he will give a homework or assignment but because we had already developed a non -chalant attitude we didn't care about completing the assignment.
Until one faithful morning he shocked everyone. I found this picture online that describe Mr. Victor that faithful morning

He collected our assignment from the school gate we didin't see what was coming until he badge into our class with a bunch of can. It was the first lesson for the day. That morning was very disastrous and bloody per say😅.
He marked our assignment there and Everybody who got below 8/10 was lashed.
Unfortunately nobody got 8/10 so we all faced the consequences.
From that day onward we became serious I took studies serious. I understood the fact that assignment were part of the development. From that day onwards I became serious. But it was not enough. My parents had to apply for after school lesson. It was not funny for me. I had to face the dreadful teacher two times in a single day😭😭. I never accepted the idea but my parents knew the best. The results still came through. I improved in mathematics and became one of the top students. But that did not shield me from some of the caning. Most times when I feel reluctant to do some assignment I will still receive some cane.

The foundation I had in mathematics through the help of Mr. Victor also helped me to excel in other calculation subjects like physics and chemistry. Sir Victor also taught physics and it was interesting. I learnt the value of hardwork and the importance of study and reading.
He was really an inspiration to me. Even though we had tough times like those punishment days. I remember one physics class we we failed a solution we all received 12 strokes of cane, I really hated those times. But in all I really learnt a lot .

This foundation in mathematics also helped me excel in my course as a mechanical engineering.
In all it's good that we cultivate hardwork and diligence in whatever course or subject because it can also help us in life later.

Sometimes we might fell that some things are hard to achieve it might not be a subject it can be an action or activity. But with hardwork and that extra effort we can achieve whatever you choose in life.

Thanks for reading!
