Pigs are domestic animals which are known for their big bodies, short legs and their long nose used for digging. Pig farming is very common in many parts of Africa and pork meat is common in many parts of the world
And as a pig farmer for many years now, I have carefully observed pigs from infancy to adulthood and these are valuable lessons I learn from pigs.

1.Dont Judge by Physical Appearance
Pigs are mostly seen as dirty and lazy. But the truth remains that the are very intelligent and clean animals when given the right and favorable environmental conditions.

LESSON
Don't judge people based on how the look or where they come from. Most people look the way the do because they are not in the right environment or facing the most favorable condition. Instead of possible offer a helping hand.

2.Adaptability
Pigs can thrive in any condition they find themselves. Whether harsh or favorable they can survive.

LESSON
It is very important to be adaptable and flexible in life, especially if things don't go as we hoped.

3.PARENTAL CARE SHOULD NOT BE UNDERESTIMATED
Mother pigs are very protective and caring . Right after they give birth, they create a safe space for their piglets feeding them and caring for them.

LESSON
A child's early stage is important. Parents should provide loving care and attention ehich lays a foundation for their children. Also we should never underestimate a mother's care and attention for the baby and the role they play in raising children. In most cases where piglets loose their mother(sow) at birth, they struggle to survive.

4.Independence Is Key to Survival
Piglets start walking around 5mims after they are born. They start learning quickly and exploring under their mother's supervision.

LESSON
Let your children explore, make mistakes and when they do wrong be sure to correct them. This will help them come back better and stronger.

5.Find Time For Leisure
Pigs always appreciate little thing's like playing in the mud to cool off.

LESSON
This shows us the importance of doing things that give comfort and joy. So when possible take time off your work and have some fun. Visit the beach or go for a dinner or even a date this is very vital for our emotional health.

6.** Lead By Example **
Pigs learn behaviors by carefully observing their mothers and siblings.

LESSON
Your actions speak louder than words. Children tends to imitate what you do than what you say.

So next time you see a pig, don't just see dirt, see wisdom. Let us appl this lessons to raise stronger children, build better communities and become more outstanding individuals. You don't have to be perfect. Whether you are a parent or a mentor or someone finding your way in life, these lessons are a reminder that wisdom can come in unexpected places. Let's us keep encouraging one another as we build stronger homes and heart❤️.
