Worthy buying and little loss
We are humans and humans are known as social beings. We need to depend on each other for various kinds of reasons. In the past humans used to exchange products between them to fulfill their needs and in this process, both parties benefited. I am giving a short example for better understanding.
made by me using canva
Suppose one person cultivated his land and he arranged the food but he didn't have any wood to cook the food. On the other hand, another person planted trees and he had the wood but he didn't have any food to cook. In that kind of situation, nobody could survive. So both of them exchanged some wood and food which is also known as trade. Doing that both of them are able to cook food and survive. It was just an example. Time has changed and in the current time, we exchange most of the things against money because it's the most common and easy way to trade. The taker is known as a buyer and the giver is known as a seller. For various purposes, we need to buy something and it's a very natural thing. In fact, we can't avoid the processing because within the process it will be nearly impossible to survive. In terms of buying sometimes we felt a product was more worthy than the price and sometimes we felt the product was not so worthy against the price we gave. And I believe all of us encounter those kinds of situations. Today I am going to share both kinds of experiences of mine. And I am starting with the good one.
After getting admission to university I was thinking of buying a laptop for me. It was not a need for me but it could help me to make many things easier and that was the reason I thought to buy a laptop. Unfortunately, I was thinking of buying again and again and in this process, I crossed approximately 3 years 😅. After crossing 3 years one of my best friends built a desktop PC. I started to wonder why he bought a desktop rather than buying a laptop. So I started analysis on it and I realized that the desktop is the best choice in every perspective except the portability. So my opinion changed and I built almost similar kind of desktop PC within a few months. I tried to install all the best components in my PC according to my capability and to build the desktop PC I cost almost 500$. I have been using the desktop for more than 3 years now and till now I didn't face any significant issues. So from the perspective of performance, my desktop PC is quite good and worthy enough to buy. Again another interesting news is the price of almost all PC components nearly doubled within 4 months because of a new budget passed by the parliament and taxes increased a lot. So I was lucky to build my desktop PC in a good time otherwise I would have needed to bear almost double expenses for the same desktop PC. At the current time, my desktop PC price must be more than 1000$. So considering everything buying the desktop PC in the exact time makes the buying more worthy and it's one of the best buying of my life till now.
Let's talk about the worst one. I think this one is going to shock you a little bit but stay tuned to know the details and the reason behind it. My worst buy was a single book. I am a book lover and I love to read books and if that was a storybook or literature book I would finished long ago. It is a textual book and I bought it at the beginning days of my university. I saw that every classmate was buying the book and so I also bought the book with them. The book cost me approximately 2.5$. I am not saying that the actual book was not so informative but I just read the first page of it. In fact, I read the page because I bought the book using cash otherwise I would not read the first page also. The reason behind this was most of the needed information I collected from Google and the slides from my teachers or the other books from the library. If I read the book now then it's useless because I already gained most of the knowledge related to the book in the last 6 years. Reading the book at the current time means nothing more than wasting my time and I won't do this anytime. So all of the money I used for the book is a waste of my money. And sometimes I feel regret why I bought the book. But now I am thinking of it as a memory 😅.

Okay,you built your own PC?
That’s really a good choice
But with the boom I personally do not think it’s a bad purchase.
Someone said if you read a book 100 times, you’d acquire different knowledge each time.
I don't care about that someone 🤣 who advice me to waste my time.!LOL I am confident that in the current time I know more information than the books provide.

In the start of your post, you have mentioned about the barter system, which was being used in the old time. and i think people should start using it again. It will decrease the poverty.
I am also using a desktop computer despite having a macBook. it's easy to use.

If you use the old strategy then I think that impact of inflation will be reduced a lot. Moreover we don't need to pay tax to the government for it. I also think it's good but don't might be some loop holes also which I mayn't see now.
I choose desktop considering everything and I think I made the right decision in that time. If for any cases I need portable features and I will go for a laptop within low budget.

Desktops are generally more powerful and sturdy. Well, if you don't move something around so often, it wouldn't break so easily anyway. My guess is that that you guys get electricy from the grid regularly. Regular electricity here is an everyday issue, and it's why I wouldn't own a desktop rather than a PC. And I am often traveling in these times.
As for your book, you can just consider it a relic from a time that you didn't know better. Lol
The performance of desktop is always better from the laptop within same price range. Besides the capacity and long time durability makes the desktop worthy to buy. And yes the electricity supply is very good in my country since last 10 years. 5/6 month ago we faced some issues related to electricity because of the bad economic condition of my country but It already solved and I hope that kind of situation will never appear again.
In case of book I am thinking about it like you mentioned ways 🙂.

That's really good, man. You don't have to worry much about electricity supply.
How's your final year project going? I haven't read about it in a while.
From 22 January exam will start and theory exam will be finished in March. After that the practical exam and then submit research paper and then viva. Going to take a good amount of time to finish all. Because A long holiday will come in the middle. My preparation is very good. 🙂
Customizing your own pc is very worth it. You can add the specs that you want so you're most likely satisfied with it. A very wise decision and it's good you didn't opt for a laptop.
As for the book, well, it's there and you might just have to use it as a decoration in your bookshelf, hehe!

Indeed and that was the reason for behind buying desktop and I could pick all the best components for my desktop. The price became double after my buying which gave me lucky feeling 😅. In fact, I'm lucky in most of the cases.
Hehe. The book is in my bookshelf already. I would try to give it someone if someone need it otherwise it I will keep it in bookself. At least after 10 or 15 years I will have a thing to remember about my varsity life.😅

It's funny, yesterday during my hike with my girlfriend, we had a somewhat similar discussion. I feel like we're gradually returning to exchanging products to meet our needs, where each party benefits from the exchange.
Building your own PC is clearly advantageous, I think. You can change the parts you want without having to replace the entire PC itself, which is really great.
For my part, I have to opt for a laptop because I move around a lot. But the day I settle down, I'll definitely go for a desktop computer, that's for sure!
Exchanging products can be helpful from many perspectives. I think it is helpful to reduce the impact of inflation in our life and we don't need to pay taxes either. General people get the maximum benefit.
I bought a desktop PC after thinking a lot and I think I have made the right decision. If I need a PC for portability, I will buy a laptop at that time.

You really made a great purchase.
I can't say anything towards books because I haven't bought any book for leisure.
Humans go through trade every time and we keep buying lots of things; some will be useful while others will not and we would start regretting buying it. In all, we should be careful.
#dreemport
Hmm. Sometimes some products are worth buying and sometimes we need to regret for buying them. Every time we can't be lucky.
The desktop was really a good win for you. These days, people actually learn more from the Web in less time. More and more people are shelving their books and befriending Google. You are not alone in that case.

Hehe. Google helped a lot in my case of study and I think it can give us better quality output rather than a book. So why trouble book for it😅. Good to hear that I am not the only one.
