I have done an experiment. I kept all my SURGE in sell order to check if I received the SURGE Yield or not in this account in that state. I didn't receive the surge yield on this account when I received my surge yield in the alt account. Does it mean one won't get surge dividends if they keep SURGE in sell orders?

I think it's good that way, you can't expect to get paid twice even for something you don't want to hold anymore.
There in nothing about get paid twice. I am talking about the surge dividends that suppose to be mine. I never said I don't want to hold but it doesn't mean I can't set an order at high price.
I think a should be official statement is needed if they won't pay for them who set sell order of SURGE.
I agree. If it is up for sale, it is still owned buy you until it actually sells!

Not wanting to hold it in the future does not change the fact that you do indeed still hold it and are entitled to the yield that is promised.
Intent to sell has nothing to do with it.

No. Looks like he placed a limit sell order which only sells when the price specified is reached. Until that price is reached, it is still owned by that person.

I placed the sell order yesterday morning. And those surge bought earlier than that. And naturally it suppose to get SURGE dividends.
I didn't transfer my SURGE anywhere.
It was just set sell order and I cancelled the order today again.
I just set sell order and cancelled the sell order again as it was for experimental purpose.
I'll ask them. Sell orders should be counted but perhaps they aren't
hmm. I think it's the same case of onealfa also. I also checked his account because of my curiosity. He also didn't get the reward for same reason I think.
To be more specific, at the time of SURGE dividends all SURGE(94 )was on sell order.
Just tried with a token i hold, when i place a sell order, my balance gets deducted by the amount i try to sell, so it's not really in my wallet anymore, think u can't get rewards for something that u don't have in wallet
