Online resources is the good way for financial literacy

Money is the most important thing we need in our lives, and there is no way we can ignore the importance of it. We make efforts and work hard to earn money. Yes, we know money does not come to us by itself. We need knowledge to make money, and there is always a start to learning or gaining knowledge.

In today's world, financial literacy is a crucial aspect, and everyone should be aware of it if they want to manage their finances wisely with minimal effort. It says that smart people will rule the world, and to be smart, we need to understand financial literacy. Are you curious to know where I have learned about financial lessons? Let me share a little about it.

In my earlier days, meaning since my childhood, I was very good at saving money, and I learned how to save money from my mother. My mother was good at it, and maybe learned it just by seeing her. She was good at managing financial issues, but I was too young to understand those, and I think I didn't learn too much about other financial matters from her. Except for saving money, I didn't have any other skills, but at the present time, I have a good amount of knowledge about finance, and I learned most of my financial lessons in the last 5 years.

I started earning from online platforms in 2020, and in 2021, I became a little bit curious about cryptocurrency trading. Trading was very risky, and investing in cryptocurrency was a fearful thing to me, but somehow I started to trade. In the beginning days, I was very confident with the little things I learned by myself. I thought making money was very easy, and I would be a millionaire within a very short time. I think I became overconfident about it unless I faced some obstacles and losses. That made me realize that I need to know more about trading and financial issues.

I started to follow some crypto influencers to learn. I understood many basic concepts related to finance from YouTube, but for a deeper understanding, it was not enough. Fortunately, at that time, I joined some writing platforms, including the Hive platform. I met different types of people on writing platforms, especially on the Hive platform. In the Hive platform, there is no shortage of people who understand more about finance, and it was the same at that time. Intentionally or sometimes unintentionally, I started to read posts of many financial experts on the Hive platform.

At the beginning, I thought reading these posts was useless, but with time, I started to realize and understand the meaning of those financial posts, and it was quite surprising for me. I understood that with time, I was learning financial things and gaining financial knowledge unintentionally. Later, when I became very serious about long-term investment, I tried to seek knowledge from every possible resource and reference. Thanks to Google, YouTube, and the Hive platform, that's really helped me a lot to gather the knowledge related to finance.

Right now, my financial knowledge is not bad, but I still think I have a long way to go, and I have many things to learn. Now I am thinking about achieving financial freedom and all the important knowledge I learn from online. I do feel that it would be better if I had learned those lessons earlier from my academic book. Our education system does not teach us how to manage financial matters, as well as financial literacy. It is the most important thing in our lives, and it should not be overlooked in an education system. I just hope that in the future, financial literacy courses will be included in our education system to make us well informed about financial management.

I agree with you that online resources can greatly help us acquire valuable knowledge regarding finances, who is same for me, but then it's well still need to be skeptical of whose theory we follow, because even the worst person I'm financial dealings also makes content online, so we should follow those with blueprint of success.

Indeed, We can't follow anyone blindly in online for financial education. We need to understand and sometimes we need to apply those knowledge if those are useful to us or not.

There is no cap on knowledge because it never ends. As long as you thirsty for more, you'll surely find more to learn. And when it comes to financial literacy, there will always be something else to learn.

You've addressed some interesting points. Financial literacy is one of the most important things in today's world. And I myself have also struggled a bit in trading because of my lack of it. I've lost quite some money as well. But all that has made me learn more. But as you said in our country, financial literacy isn't taught much in the schools and the curriculum. It should be included because you don't earn money management after you start to earn money. Money management is a very fundamental skill that everyone should have.

Hmm. We learn about financial management in a hard way after losing money but I think the loss could be minimized if we had good financial knowledge.

Information is at everyone's fingertips, so they say. It's great that you are utilizing the many resources online to learn things and be financially literate. And every day is a good day to learn more. The thing is that most people (including me) are lazy, lol!

Yes, I also agree with you that financial literacy should be included in schools mostly for the young children so they'd understand how important it is while also confirming its authenticity from parents, too.
Learning online is one great place to learn financial literacy and also with people's experiences.

Unfortunately our education system doesn't think such kind of course is not important. We are lucky to have internet as it allowed us to know many things about finance.

What I want to say here is that when difficult situations arise, we all start to understand everything, and nowadays, with social media, it is quite easy for us to control everything.

Indeed, as long as we have internet connectivity it's not difficulty to access information.
