Life if different + HPUD
It has been raining heavily since yesterday, and because of the extreme rain, I didn't go outside today. I spent most of the time lazily, but I try to give enough attention to my study as I am going to attend my last academic exam on 3rd July. I was observing the rain from my room window and thinking that life is not equal for everyone.
There are reasons for thinking about it. It's because since morning, I was passing my time almost like a regular day. In fact, I was passing a more relaxing day, like a holiday. I am enjoying the rain through the window, and it's quite refreshing also. But through my room window, I can see some houses that can be considered slums. I can see a different scenario of life when I observe them.
Because of heavy rain, water centered in their house, maybe in the early morning. They are quite busy making the water outside of their house. I hope it didn't bring too much damage to them. As much as I observed, I think they didn't get time to have breakfast and relax for a while. Maybe they could not make lunch for themselves, and so they bought lunch from outside. As far as I know, buying lunch from outside is not cost-effective, and they don't go for it because they need to save money as much as they can.
I think the distance between me and them is approximately 10-20 meters, but on a rainy day, we are experiencing almost the opposite situation. Rainy days are quite relaxing for me, while that bring suffering for them. I think it's natural to think that life is not equal for everyone, especially when there are differences in financial background.
By the way, it's the first day of June, and we know that the first day of each month is known as HPUD. It is a really important day for Hive users, and many Hive users power up and take little steps for the growth of this platform.

I powered up a little for participating in HPUD. I am determined to participate in every HPUD of this year, and I am still on track, and I believe that I can make it possible.

Some people find it easier than others, however, I had my house flooded in a housing development, problems with the level of the land beyond my control. And thankfully the only thing I got out was my little dog. I can't say who is to blame:
Maybe the designers and engineers in charge of the work, or me for buying in that area, or life. I don't know.
Very thoughtful post, anyway I like to watch the rain fall from the window, but when it rains hard I ride upstairs as much as I can and get ready to run.
