Happiness is a journey

Everyone wants to be happy in life. And having that kind of mentality is very natural. But what is the true meaning of happiness? Is it related to money or achieving success or something else? What is required to be a happy life?

Happiness is a feeling and explaining it is quite complicated in words. Instead of it, I will try to explain as much as I can through my simple words. In my opinion, feeling satisfied with our current situation is called happiness.

Money is one of the most important elements to be happy in life but only money is not enough. There are some other factors that play a very important role in being happy in life but money can make those things easier for us. So, we can't ignore the importance of money to be happy in life. But does it mean having money makes one's happy?

The answer is "no". If that was true then every rich man would be happy but in many cases, it has been seen that even rich men are also unhappy in life. From my perspective after a certain amount of money, it can't play a significant role because it highly depends on the mentality of humans.

It's like a half glass of water. We can see it from two different perspectives. We can say that the glass is filled with half of the water and again we can say that half of the glass is empty. The meaning of both perspectives is the same but in the first perspective, we are focusing on the filled with-water part while in the second perspective, we are focusing on the empty part of the water. In life, if we focus on good, beautiful moments and success, satisfaction comes naturally but if we focus on bad, sorrowful moments and failure feeling satisfaction is very difficult. How we think about our life and where we are focusing on is the most important thing. if we want to be happy in life we need to focus on good and positive things. So instead of having huge money one human can be unhappy and again at the same time one human can be happy instead of having a little amount of money.

Happiness is not any object and so there is no guarantee that it will sustain all the time after achieving it once. It can go anytime and a simple factor can also do it like our health. If we became sick our happiness may gone. Happiness is not any kind of destination because, in the case of destination, there exists a fixed ending point, and reaching to the destination there exists no way to undo it. Happiness is like a journey means dynamic. Happiness is also like that because it can come and go anytime and we just try to enjoy the journey and make it lengthy as much as we can.
