How I spent my day today

Hello everyone, I hope you’re doing great.
Today I’d like to share a little summary of how my day went.
It all started very early in the morning around 6 o’clock when I woke up from bed. As soon as I got up, I went straight to the bathroom and took my shower. After that, I headed into the kitchen and dished out some food I had already prepared earlier, around 3 o’clock in the morning, before going back to sleep.
After dishing out the food, I picked up my toothbrush from where I kept it and went and brushed my teeth. Feeling refreshed afterward, I went ahead and ate it all.

When I was done, I dressed up and left home for the office.
When I arrived at the office, I met a few people. I was really happy to see some of my colleagues because most of them usually come to work late. This time, however, I was impressed to notice that many people had arrived even before me, which was quite different from how it used to be.
I went upstairs to my office, settled down and dropped some of the items I came with. Afterwards, I went downstairs to meet the rest of my colleagues who were seated in the conference room. When I got there, I noticed that the number of people had increased. In fact, it looked like the number of people I had seen earlier had tripled.

I saw many new faces and we introduced ourselves to one another. We talked briefly and shared what was going on for the day.
After the introductions, I left the conference room and went back upstairs to my unit. I climbed the stairs and got busy working with the desktop computer on my table. It was a tough day, honestly because I had a lot to do. A colleague of mine was seated beside me and she was also very busy. Once in a while, we took short breaks to chat about little things before returning to our work.
By around 2 p.m., I decided it was time for me to go home. At that time of the day, many people had already left the office, including some staff members and colleagues.

Everywhere looked empty. I was surprised when I went downstairs and realized that most of the people I had met in the morning were no longer around. The desks and tables were almost all empty, except for a few people who were chatting downstairs.
Seeing this encouraged me to gather my belongings and leave the office as well. So I did exactly that and headed home.
When I got home, the first thing I did was eat. After eating, I warmed my soup and then decided to go to church since I still had several hours before nightfall. I went back to the bathroom, took another shower. It was quite cold, so I returned to my room to dress up.

After dressing up, I headed straight to a nearby Anglican church. When I arrived, I met some of my colleagues who are also committed to prayer and the things of God. We stayed together, prayed, and fellowshiped. After about an hour, we were dismissed, and I returned home.
And that is exactly how I spent my day today. Right now, the only thing I’m doing is writing. Once I’m done, I’ll lie back on my bed and go to sleep.
