RE: High water in Vienna. Luckily the city has a very good flood protection system, but public transport got quite limited, west bound railroad system shut down and also highways were temporarily closed.

In the Czech Republic, the flood situation is bad in the north, Silesia and northern Moravia. The capital Prague is fine.
But slowly the rain stops. The rivers will still be cresting somewhere, but the flood wave will now head down the Elbe into Germany.
