In the past, money was gold and silver and therefore could not go bankrupt. Later, at least, they were backed by gold. What is crypto backed by? Human desire for wealth and greed. This is a stronger guarantee than gold that cryptocurrencies will stay and grow over time. And stocks? They've been going up and down forever.
