My Morning Harvest; Enjoying the fruits of my labour

Hello everyone, I'm excited to share with you today, every harvest reward is the harvest, his happiness is reaping that which he sown in plenty fold, it's said in my local dialect that, Farm can't tell the owner go and die that means there's something to always harvest or get from your farm but that's not same with one who doesn't sow. The joy and expectations of every one who plant or cultivate is seeing that which he planted or cultivated grown to maturity,the period of waiting for maturity may not even be enjoyable because there's always hunger during the moment or period of planting.. But when the produces mature joy overflows.

I would say that the ernest expectations of every farm is to live to harvest his products, I began to line up plantain suckers in a small farm close to our house, since its just a small piece of land, I couldn't let it lying waste, thereby, evening home waste especially let overs and peels either cassava peels etc will be poured to nurture them, since it was during raining season and plantain doesn't demand to be watering as it survive with morning dew. I was watching as it began to grow to the stage of bringing flower and wing was too much, in order to prevent it from falling I have to support to stake (bamboo stick).

I'm hoping to develop my own farm this year gradually, farming just underrated profession but it is what feed every nations, I grew up in a family where we don't buy any farm produce from market except rice and beans which we didn't grow, but thinking of reduplicating such family for myself. The cause of inflation in our nation and other nations is lack of productions especially farm production which feeds other sectors of economy.

I comfortably entered my small farm this morning and harvested my plantain, a very big bunch of plantain which worth currently over ($7.8) that's N12,000 Nigerian money here in my state, Akwa Ibom. I was so excited because I have what to eat in the next few days and I really love eating plantain porridge and plantain with egg sauce or stew,
you can see that I'm also enjoying the fruits of labor, why not plant something today and eat in some months to come.

As I look round, I saw a ripe pawpaw in my garden that's how I'm been fed this morning, I didn't waste time to plugged it, washed it and sliced it into plate to sustain myself before thinking of how to prepare the plantain. Farming is good, farming is very lucrative business, farming is a noble profession, if you doubt me ask @@@mattsanthonyit.
