Celebrating African Day: Every child has a right to good life and protection
Hello everyone, today is International African Child Day Celebration, every child deserve unconditional love, respect, protection and to be cared for and above all celebrated. Education is the most important thing every child should have access to, this year's African Child Day Celebration is tagged Education for children in Africa:The time is now Before now, being an African child, was as it's a course, with no care, no formal education but education was left with parents inculcating morals through informal education to their children with grace gap in ability to read and write.
Today, Begotten International Schools, one of the famous school organization celebrate the African Child Day in an awesome styles with different African cultural heritage, as it's said, he who forget his history, has no future. The children/students of Begotten International Schools bring back the African history in poems, songs and dances, education is a key tools in upholding one's culture to avoid degrading society, void of no cultural heritage, education must be of esteem and the time to educate every child is now.
African Child celebration gained intentional recognition to commensurate the massive murdered of students in Soweto, South Africa which took place in 1976 as they were protesting against education injustice and inequality in the apartheid regime, The African Union in 1991 marked 19th June of every year in order to promote African children's rights. Meanwhile, over thirty million of the world’s 57 million children are out of school mostly in sub-Saharan African. This children's rights from 1991 has witnessed impact has African youths are taking over continent's growth and development. Also, there are other important things to know about African Child which worth celebrating.
