A little outing between sisters | Una pequeña salida entre hermanas.

Hello everyone, today I'm here to share a little bit about a little outing my sister and I had. We took advantage of the fact that we had some time since we hadn't been touring the city center together, and the opportunity arose. So, well, after waking up very late and waiting for the rain to clear up because it had been pouring down since morning, we got down to business.

Hola a todos, hoy les vengo a compartir un poco de lo que fue una pequeña salida que tuvimos mi hermana y yo, aprovechando que teníamos algo de tiempo, ya que no recorríamos juntas el centro y se dio la oportunidad, así que, bueno, luego de despertarnos alto tarde y esperar que escapara por la lluvia intensa que había estado haciendo desde la mañana, nos pusimos manos a la obra.

For this, and knowing that I tend to get sick easily, I put on a small black jacket that was quite warm in case it started to rain again while we were downtown, and she, unlike her, wore something open and more in keeping with her style, although we both got a bit hot afterwards.

Para esto y sabiendo que me suelo enfermar fácil, me puse una pequeña chaqueta negra que abrigaba bastante por si acaso llegaba a llover de nuevo mientras estábamos en el centro, y ella, a diferencia, se llevó algo descubierto y más a lo que es su estilo, aunque luego ambas estábamos algo acaloradas.

For a few days now, she'd been telling me to go to a small place that had a hot dog deal. Unlike other places downtown, it was cheaper, and she suggested we go there to try it out. The truth is, neither of us tend to go out to these places all the time, which is why we were also waiting for the right moment to go. The thing is, when we arrived, it was pretty lonely, and they wouldn't set up tables outside until evening, so it was very convenient for both of us to be there.

Desde hace unos días ella estaba diciéndome que fuéramos a un pequeño localsito donde tenían una promo de perros calientes, el cual, a diferencia de otros lugares del centro, era más económico, y pues me decía que fuéramos para probar qué tal era. La verdad, ambas no somos de salir constantemente a estos lugares, cosa por la cual también estábamos esperando el momento para poder ir. El punto es que al llegar estaba bastante solo y no era hasta la noche que pondrían mesitas en la parte de afuera, por lo que para ambas fue muy cómodo estar así.

It was cool, which was nice compared to the heat outside, typical of the rain that was forecast for hours later. Plus, they had music playing and the guy who served us was very friendly, so we chatted a bit while they brought us the combos, which were two hot dogs with everything. Once they arrived, we ate them with both gusto and fury, since it had been a while since we'd tried one, and I have to say they were quite delicious. In my opinion, they only needed more sauce, but they were quite large and good; even my sister, who was the one who wanted to go the most, had a hard time eating because she was stuffed.

Estaba fresco, lo cual estuvo bien en comparación con el calor que hacía afuera, propio de la lluvia que se estaba anunciando para horas más tarde. Además, tenían música y el muchacho que nos atendió fue muy amable, por lo que estuvimos charlando un poco mientras nos traían los combos, los cuales eran dos perritos calientes con todo, y una vez llegaron, los degustamos tanto con gusto como con furia, ya que teníamos rato que no probábamos unos y debo de decir que estuvieron bastante ricos. A mi parecer, solo les faltó más salsas, pero estuvieron bastante grandes y buenos; incluso a mi hermana, que era la que tanto quería ir, le costó comer porque se había llenado.

For the price, which was 2 for 180 bolivars, they were good and filled us up, which also counts. After that, we took advantage of the opportunity to explore downtown a bit. We visited several places, but mostly to look for prices on phone chargers, since mine was already failing, and I must say they seemed expensive. We also went into a store where we looked at shoe prices, and something I liked was the pet section. I was looking for something to help me control cat hair on my clothes, but I didn't find anything. However, I liked that they had bags for transporting pets.

Para el precio que fueron 2 por 180 bolívares, estuvieron bien y nos llenaron, lo cual cuenta también, y luego de eso aprovechamos a recorrer el centro un poco. Visitamos varios lugares, pero más que todo para buscar precios de cargadores de teléfono, puesto que el mío ya está dañándose, y debo de decir que se me hicieron caros. Así como entramos en un local donde estuvimos viendo precios de zapatos, y algo que me gustó fue una sección de cositas para mascotas, la cual estuve de nuevo buscando, algo que me ayudara a controlar lo de los pelitos de gato en la ropa, mas no encontré; sin embargo, me gustó que tuvieran bolsos para transportar animalitos.

Okay, okay, after that, we headed back to the house, step by step. As soon as we arrived, the imminent rain started, which we knew would happen. And so concludes this quick but fun outing I had with my sister today.

Ya, ya, de eso nos regresamos pasito a pasito a la casa; donde apenas llegar, comenzó la inminente lluvia que ya sabíamos que pasaría. Y así concluye esta salida, un poco rápida pero divertida, que tuve con mi hermana el día de hoy.
