A recommended design [eng/spa]
For me, sharing my opinions and experiences about the places I visit that have a design and architecture that I find attractive, has become one of the most pleasant moments I have during the week. Writing is always very liberating, and if it is also related to a topic of my liking, it becomes even more gratifying.
Today I share with you the images of one of the largest cafeterias in the Meliá Habana hotel, which I really liked because it is located in a roofed area, but you can feel as if you were outdoors. As I had told you in another of my posts, some time ago I visited this hotel for work, and I promised to describe some of its best areas.
The first element that totally captured my attention was a sculpture that forms the word "Vive". This kind of elements are being used a lot nowadays, especially in touristic places; and people take many pictures in them to immortalize the moment. In particular this one seemed very nice to me because with those 4 letters it transmits to the person who observes it, or in this case to the client, desires to enjoy every minute.
I also liked very much the choice of one of the floor slab models used for the colors chosen, which were in the range of cream shades. This type of shades always turns out to be an excellent choice, because they give a very soft touch of elegance.

The gastronomic offers, which are mainly fast food, are sold through a very nice cart. Visitors residing in Cuba are very surprised because the well-known food trucks are not very frequent here, but I learned that they are part of a new concept that has been incorporated by the Meliá corporation.
The whole place exudes an atmosphere of hygiene and neatness. Cleanliness is something I always observe, especially in places where gastronomic products are sold. I will never tire of saying that it is a fundamental element.
Very close to the cafeteria is the hotel's Casa del Habano, but curiously they do not allow you to take pictures inside this place. The clerk explained to me that this measure is aimed at minimizing the risk of plagiarism, since the products sold there are of the highest quality. In front of the entrance door you can find a life-size bottle of Cohiba cigars.
All the furniture used is very nice and varied. They have very high two-seater tables, sofas that are very comfortable because of the huge gray cushions they have.

What I admired the most, for a long time, was a sculpture that I found in the middle of a very green grass blanket, and I think it is because it seemed to me a kind of Roman figure. The work shows the body of a woman wearing a very tight dress, and has a pair of huge wings in place of her arms. The sculpture has no head, which in my opinion, enhances the idea that women think more with their hearts.
