These little furballs in the photo are temporarily housed for safety, but I long for the day they can run freely around the house, chasing sunbeams, climbing onto cozy corners, and finding joy in the simplest things. Looking at these two baby kittens behind the mesh, I can’t help but reflect on how they, too, crave space, warmth, and a life beyond confinement.

Some people don’t understand how deeply we can love animals, but to me, raising cats is like nurturing children with patience, care, and unconditional love. They’re not just pets to me; they are my family. I talk to them, worry for them, and celebrate their small milestones like any proud parent would. As such, freedom is a basic need for them too, because they have a heart that longs for a home and a soul that responds to affection.

They deserve love, comfort, and dignity just as we all do.
