Hey, I hope you're having a good day. The weather is getting warmer by the day and it looks like we will see summer before spring. I hope that in Frostpunk we can somehow see warm days, if not summer.

In the previous episode, after we survived the storm, we started to increase resource production because we will no longer be able to find new resources because we have explored the whole map. We need to improve the generator because after the storm people are afraid of a stronger or longer storm coming back. For that we need a lot of cores, and the only place to find them is in the Winter slot you remember from the old game. Preparations for colonization have begun.


There were not many jobs in the city, so many people were not working. Now I will build food, extraction and industrial zones for these people. They must contribute to us. As you can see on the top right, our food stocks will run out fast.


This will be the first time I try a deep-melt drill. I'll be able to access and extract an endless supply of food deep in the ground. It's good to know there's an endless food supply.


The colony has reached Winterfell and now it's time to decide. Are we going to colonize and settle there? Or do we take the cores from there and bring them to the city? If we colonize and settle, we will never have the cores to power the generator as much as we want. But choosing to take the cores from there will cause toxic gases to be released and Winterfell will become uninhabitable. I'm going to choose to take the cores because I want to go with the flow of the story. So far I've supported the Yilmazes and even though I sometimes regret it, I want to see where this goes.


There was a huge explosion in Winterfell and toxic gases were released.


Chapter 4 begins, greed.


The level of poisonous gases will rise, so I have to be careful when I go on the frost conquest and extract the cores, otherwise people will die.


I took a look at the winter nest and thought about how to get out of here with minimal losses. Then I wasted no time and started the frost conquest.


Of course I have to provide for this colony. I can easily provide everything except food. If I stay here too long, sending food might be a problem.


I need to send more people to Winterfell because I need to get the beans out as soon as possible. I closed down most of the businesses in the city that were overproducing and sent them to Winterfell.


I now have 11 cores. I can get more if I demolish some buildings, but I need at least 25 more cores.


I have two different options for the frost conquest. If I choose to conquer the frost safely, I will have to spend 3 times as much heat scale and exactly 20 times as much pre-fabricated material. I can afford the heat stamps, but it is impossible to find that much prefabricated material.


3 frost conquests have been completed and the news is bad. A total of 363 people were killed and more than 500 injured. Even though it is hard to afford, I have to choose the safe frost conquest otherwise too many people will die here.


I will have to build an automated labor factory here so that I can send automatons to the frost conquest. It makes much more sense than risking people's lives.


Ahh, not now! Some of the colonists are preparing to sabotage activities in the winter quarters. I hope we can do something about it, because we have no time to lose here!


People are now reacting strongly. Supplies and warehouses were looted and they wrote on the door that they hated the Yilmazes. I have to build watchtowers as soon as possible.


Sabotage has begun. For the time being, I can cover the damage, but I don't know if it will be the same in the future.


The travelers have turned against the Yılmazs. They cheer for them to die. I need to do something about it, but everything is so overlapping that it will take me a long time to complete the research or even build something here.


The gases in the winter nest have become more deadly. We need to get out of here as soon as possible!
