Greetings, today is the last week of Trliste's colors event and I'm going to share with you something about the thing I share the most and enjoy talking about the most on Hive, games. I'm going to write about it in a very free style, nothing planned, just what's on my mind.

Why do you play so many games incublus? Why do you share so many games? Gaming is a passion for me since my childhood. I didn't have a computer when I was very young and I loved to go to my friend's house and watch him play games. I wanted to play myself, but just watching him was a joy for me. My friend was playing GTA, I don't remember which game, but it might have been Vice City. I never played any game of that series for more than an hour, but even watching that game gave me pleasure. I wasn't aware of this passion at the time, but now I am.

As for why I love games so much, games mean different things to different people. For some they are a waste of time, for others they are a way to pass the time. For others, like me, it is a passion. We immerse ourselves in the world of the game and stay there for hours. Some of us do it because we love that world so much, others to get away from real life.

Yes, it's true, many of us don't have perfect lives and sometimes we want to get away from it. There have been many times when I have wanted to get away from reality and games have always helped me to do that. I jumped into a fantasy world and felt freer than I could ever be in life and I became stronger than I could ever be in real life. Sometimes I fought against Nazis in Italy, sometimes against orcs in Middle-earth, sometimes I rode my horse to freedom in Calradia. But it's just a game...

I wish I could do that in real life, but even if it's a game, it gives me happiness. If I was doing one of the things in one of these games in real life I probably wouldn't survive very long, but in the game I can do it and it makes me happy. Why shouldn't it? Why don't I have the right to dive into a beautiful world and have fun for a few hours?

Who's telling me that? Everybody. There are so many people who say that as people grow up they shouldn't play games anymore. Look around you, they're everywhere. Even when you're on your phone texting with your friend, they tell you to stop playing on your phone. They don't like games. I don't know why, but I'm not going to listen to them. I think playing a good game is as much fun as watching a good movie. It's even better because you're the main character. Your character does what you want. Have you ever seen a character that runs when you stop pressing a button? They would have a hard time surviving even a few seconds without you. I like to keep that character alive.

That's why I'll never listen to others when it comes to games. When I'm 50, I'll play games. Maybe I'll play a game I made myself. I have a dream like that. To play a game I made myself. It won't be easy to design, maybe it will be a failed game. Of course they will tell me I can't do it, but I won't listen to them. Who cares what other people think? I won't ruin my life for this dream, but I will try my luck when I have the opportunity.

If you look at the last part of my game posts, it says "Play More, Live More!". I didn't see that anywhere and quote it, it's a motto for me. Anyway, I think I've told you enough about how much I love games, so I'm going to give you a few recommendations of my favorite games and maybe you'll like them and want to try them. Mount Blade II: Bannerlord, Stray, This War of Mine, Frostpunk, Age of Empires series, Left 4 Death 2, Skyhill, Spec Ops: The Line... If you want to get more suggestions, you can specify the genre in the comments. Most of these games are indie games. If you want to get suggestions in the horror genre, I recommend you to visit the Hive Gaming community. Because it is very popular there, but it is not a genre I am very interested in.

Neden bu kadar çok oyun oynuyorsun incublus? Neden bu kadar çok oyun paylaşıyorsun? Oyun benim için çocukluğumdan itibaren gelen bir tutku. Çok küçükken bir bilgisayarım yoktu ve arkadaşımın evine gittiğimde onu oyun oynarken izlemeyi bile severdim. Kendim de oynamak isterdim ama onu izlemek bile benim için bir keyifti. Arkadaşım GTA oynuyordu, hangi oyun olduğunu hatırlamıyorum ama Vice City olabilir. O serinin hiçbir oyununu 1 saatten uzun süre oynamadım ama o oyunu izlemek bile bana keyif veriyordu. O zamanlar bu tutkumun farkında değildim ama şimdi farkındayım.

Oyunları neden bu kadar çok sevdiğime gelince, oyunlar her insan için farklı şeyler ifade eder. Bazıları için zaman kaybıdır, bazıları için zaman geçirme aracıdır. Bazıları içinse benim gibi tutkudur. Oyunun dünyasına kendimizi kaptırıp saatlerce oradan ayrılmayız. Bazılarımız o dünyayı çok sevdiği için bunu yapar bazıları ise gerçek hayattan uzaklaşmak için.

Evet bu doğru, pek çoğumuzun mükemmel hayatları yok ve bazen ondan uzaklaşmak istiyoruz. Benim de pek çok defa gerçeklikten uzaklaşmak istediğim zamanlar oldu ve oyunlar bu konuda bana hep yardım etti. Bir hayal dünyasının içine atlayıp hayatta olabileceğimden çok daha özgür hissettim ve gerçek hayatta olamayacağım kadar güçlü oldum. Bazen İtalya'da nazilere karşı savaştım, bazen orta dünyada orklara karşı, bazen de Calradia'da atımı özgürlüğe sürdüm. Ama bu sadece bir oyun...

Keşke gerçek hayatta da bunu yapabilsem ama bu bir oyun bile olsa bana mutluluk veriyor. Gerçek hayatta bu oyunların birindeki şeylerden birini yapıyor olsaydım muhtemelen çok fazla hayatta kalamazdım ama oyunda yapabiliyorum ve beni mutlu ediyor. Neden etmesin ki? İyi bir oyun oynamanın güzel bir film izlemek kadar eğlenceli olduğunu düşünüyorum. Hatta ondan bile daha iyi çünkü başrolde siz varsınız. Karakteriniz siz ne isterseniz onu yapıyor. Siz düğmeye basmayı bıraktığınızda koşan bir karakter gördünüz mü? Siz olmadan birkaç saniye bile hayatta kalmakta zorlanırlar. Ben o karakteri hayatta tutmayı seviyorum.

Bu yüzden oyun konusunda asla diğerlerini dinlemeyeceğim. 50 yaşıma geldiğimde oyun oynayacağım. Belki de kendi yaptığım bir oyunu oynayacağım. Böyle bir hayalim de var.
