In this game, Zoe visited us and said she'd give us loot at the start of each phase. We can see some crazy compositions with items like the Spatula.


I chose Gold Destiny as my first augment and let the game decide for me. This augment gives you a random gold augment and 3 gold. Luckily, something compatible with the composition I wanted to play came up. Treasure Hunt grants a locked chest at each stage. When you spend 20 gold to refresh your shop, the chest unlocks and you win a reward. Since I'll be refreshing my shop frequently while playing Yordle, this augment will be useful.


I spent the entire early game on a losing streak. That's not bad. Yordles are a composition that grows stronger over time as champions reach 2-3 stars. My champions were only 1 star, so I couldn't activate the synergy.


I chose Wand Overflow as my second augment. I usually don't like or prefer this augment, but I definitely need it to unlock Veigar in the composition I'm playing right now. Veigar's lock is unlocked when a champion has two Rabadon's Deathcapes. Four Needlessly Large Rods make exactly two Rabadon's Deathcapes lol.


After selecting the augment, I went through the entire mid-game on a winning streak. Now all I have to do is get my champions to 3 stars. This isn't easy, but the Yordle trait helps. When you activate 4 Yordles, you see a Yordle champion in your first shop every turn. When you activate 6 Yordles, you gain 2 free shop refreshes per turn. When you activate 8 Yordles, you gain a reward bag per turn.


For the final augment, I chose Last Second Save. This augment allows your champions to heal when their health is low. It's an augment I like, and since Yordles will have a lot of health when they reach 3 stars, I think it will provide good value.


I eliminated my first opponent very early on lol. Ixtal is a risky composition, and making a comeback isn't always possible in every game. Maybe if this opponent had faced me a turn later, they would have been strong enough to defeat me, but right now they had no chance. He took 12 damage and died.


I also completed the entire 4th stage with a winning streak, but huh, the final fight was really close. I was pretty sure I was going to lose it because at the start of the fight, all my champions seemed like they were going to die. Luckily, I won. This is very important for my economy.


Since we're still at the beginning of the set, I can sometimes be too slow or miss things. For example, here I should have activated the 8 Yordle trait and taken advantage of the reward bag, but I got distracted.


In a Yordle composition, you have two main carries: Veigar and Fizz. Veigar deals great damage with Spear of Shojin, Rabadon's Deathcap, and Jeweled Gauntlet. I think these are the items you should prioritize. Fizz becomes powerful with Hand of Justice, Jeweled Gauntlet, and either Rabadon's Deathcap or Bloodthirster. The more ability power you have, the better.


Damn it! I could have won this fight without losing, but I lost because I didn't give Fizz an item. After using his ability to damage a champion, Fizz moves away from that champion. That's why his ability power needs to be high enough to kill him. Otherwise, it's ridiculous because he reduces all champions' health but doesn't kill them.


I managed to get Veigar to 3 stars at the very beginning of stage 6. Now, if my opponents don't do anything stupid, I'm definitely going to be first.


Before Veigar reached 3 stars, I was losing to this opponent, but now I can easily defeat him.


In the final battle, I also easily defeated my opponent who was playing a Demacia composition and came in first. GG, friends!

In my opinion, the Yordle composition is very powerful; you can come in first every game, but it's also a very popular composition. Several people can play it every game, and in that case, you might end up last. If your spot is good at the start of the game and no one else is playing it, I definitely recommend trying it.
