The 19th week of the Turkish league has concluded, and the race at the top is becoming increasingly exciting. One team makes a mistake just as the lead is about to change hands, and then the other team makes a mistake too. This week, Galatasaray played against Karagümrük, and Sara scored the earliest goal of the season in the Super League. The ball hit the net just 31 seconds into the game. Most viewers may have missed the goal while searching for the channel broadcasting the match :D After that, Galatasaray looked very disorganized. Karagümrük is one of the worst teams in the league, and in my opinion, there's no way Galatasaray couldn't beat them, but I didn't feel that way at all in the first half. The players were probably tired from the previous match and had the next Champions League match on their minds. They'll be playing against a team like Manchester City, so I can't blame them, but if it had been a slightly more serious opponent than Karagümrük, Galatasaray could have fallen far behind in the first half. In the second half, the team pulled themselves together and easily brought the score to 3-1. Sara played incredibly well. She has been very eager and effective for several matches now. There is no place on the field where she doesn't press. She uses set pieces well and contributes a lot to the defense. Osimhen also scored a great goal. He showed how a striker should control the ball and strike it at a deadly point.

Galatasaray's main rival for the championship, Fenerbahçe, also didn't start the match well. The first half ended 1-1, and both teams had good chances. The second half was dominated by Fenerbahçe. I thought Galatasaray would win 3-1, but Göztepe defended so well that Fenerbahçe couldn't score. The ball possession ratio broke the record. 82% Fenerbahçe and 18% Göztepe. It reminded me of a match between Barcelona and Celtic in the Champions League years ago. The Fenerbahçe players weren't very good either. I think when Musaba, the best player of the match, was taken off by the coach, Fenerbahçe's effectiveness was completely lost. Yes, they were pressing, but they seemed to know they couldn't score. For those who don't know, there are four big teams in Turkey. The other two big teams are Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor. Beşiktaş failed to beat Eyüpspor, one of the worst teams in the league, in today's match. They have many different problems. Despite losing at least seven players during the transfer window, they still haven't signed a single player. Their coach seems to be complaining about the same issue. Trabzonspor, on the other hand, is a really interesting team; they have a lot of young players and are doing well in the league. In the Super League, teams usually compete for the championship with middle-aged or veteran players. Galatasaray and Beşiktaş are like that. But Trabzonspor is in 3rd place in the league and is holding its own in the race with a squad mostly made up of young players. Moreover, they signed most of these players cheaply and have a very high chance of selling them for a high price. I have great respect for them.

Bu hafta Galatasaray Karagümrük'e karşı oynadı ve Sara süper ligde bu sezonun en erken golünü kaydetti. Sadece 31. saniyede top ağlarla buluşmuştu. Çoğu seyirci maçın olduğu kanalı ararken golü kaçırmış olabilir :D Sonrasında ise Galatasaray çok dağınık göründü. Karagümrük ligin en kötü takımlarından biri ve bana göre Galatasaray'ın onu yenememesi gibi bir şey söz konusu olamaz ama ilk yarıda hiç de öyle hissetmedim. Muhtemelen oyuncular bir önceki maçın yorgunluğuna sahip ve akıllarında da bir sonraki Şampiyonlar Ligi maçı var. Mancesther City gibi bir takıma karşı oynayacaklar bu yüzden onları suçlayamam yine de Karagümrük değil de biraz daha ciddi bir rakip olsaydı Galatasaray ilk yarıdan çok geri düşebilirdi. Ben Galatasaray gibi 3-1 kazanacağını düşünüyordum ama Göztepe o kadar iyi savunma yaptı ki Fenerbahçe bir türlü gol atamadı. Topla oynama oranı rekoru kırıldı. %82 Fenerbahçe ve %18 Göztepe. Bana yıllar önce şampiyonlar liginde Barcelona-Celtic arasında oynanan maçı hatırlattı. Fenerbahçe'de oyuncular da çok iyi değildi. Bence maçın en iyi oyuncusu olan Musaba da teknik direktör tarafından oyundan çıkarılınca Fenerbahçe'nin etkinliği iyice kayboldu. Evet baskı yapıyorlardı ama onlar da gol atamayacaklarını biliyor gibiydi. Bu açıdan Tedesco'nun tercihleri de eminim sorgulanacaktır. Bilmeyenler için Türkiye'de 4 büyük takım var. Diğer iki büyük takım Beşiktaş ve Trabzonspor. Beşiktaş bugün oynanan maçta ligin en kötü takımlarından Eyüpspor'u yenemedi. Onların çok farklı sorunları var. Transfer döneminde en az 7 oyuncu kaybetmiş olmalarına rağmen hala bir tek oyuncu transfer etmediler. Teknik direktörleri de aynı konudan şikayetçi gibi görünüyor. Trabzonspor ise gerçekten enteresan bir takım, hem çok genç oyuncuları var hem de ligde iyi durumdalar. Süper ligde genelde takımlar orta yaşlı veya veteran futbolcularla şampiyonluk yarışı veriyor. Galatasaray ve Beşiktaş öyle. Ama Trabzonspor ligde 3. sırada ve çoğunluğu genç oyunculardan oluşan bir kadroyla yarışa tutunuyor. Üstelik bu oyuncuların çoğunu ucuza transfer ettiler ve pahalıya satma olasılıkları çok yüksek. Onlara büyük saygı duyuyorum.
