Hello my friends, I hope you are ready for another movie review. I recently told you that I will be sharing movie reviews with you more often and today we are going to talk about a movie that thriller lovers will love, The Black Phone.

The movie was released in 2021 and is currently available on Netflix. If you check it on IMDB, you can see that it has been quite popular recently. Maybe it's because of the news that the second movie will be released next year. The genre of the movie is horror, thriller and mystery. If I wanted to summarize the movie, these 3 words would be enough.

As always, there are minor spoilers after this part. In the neighborhood where Finney Blake, the lead boy lives, small children start to disappear. Unfortunately, they cannot be found dead or alive. This leads to rumors that there is a killer kidnapping children. Yet somehow the little kids are going to and from school alone lol. I think that was the biggest bullshit in this movie. Imagine if there was such a rumor going around, would you let your child go out alone?

After a few people, our killer kidnaps Finney and imprisons him in a basement. Things are already weird up to this point, but this is where it gets really weird. The only things in his room are a black phone, a mattress and a barred window. One day the phone starts ringing and after a few times he hears strange conversations on the phone, which at first doesn't sound at all. I'm not going to tell you what they are and who is doing them.

Finney tries every way to escape from there. I think we see one of the ridiculous scenes in the movie here. Finney manages to pry the bars off the window with the help of a rope, but he can't get out. So how does he put it back on? I ask this because he can't even reach it lol.

Another strange thing in the movie is that Finney's sister has strange dreams and she also sees something about where Finney is being held. His father and the cops think he's a nutcase. It's interesting that this kid is always going out by himself. A girl of 8 or 9 years old, even after her brother was kidnapped, she goes out alone. It's too preposterous. Finally, she dreams about the place where her brother is being held and they go to rescue him. But are her dreams really true? Or is it all just a farce? Will Finney be able to break free? What happened to the other kidnapped children? You will have to watch the movie to find the answers to all these questions. Wow, I think this might be my least spoilery movie review post ever haha.

The first lesson to be learned from the movie is never send your child out alone when there are rumors like this around, that is, when you are not sure if you live in a safe neighborhood. This is really unacceptable. Another thing, if your child tells you that he/she is dreaming about something, listen to him/her and trust him/her a little bit, especially if what he/she is dreaming about turns out to be true. Just a note in case a younger person reads this post, as much as possible don't interact with people you don't know. Unfortunately, today's world is not that safe.

If I were to rate the movie, I would give it 8.5 out of 10. If you are looking for a good horror thriller movie, you should check it out. I liked the script, if you ignore the nonsense I mentioned above. You will see some unexpected scenes in the movie. I also really liked the acting of the kidnapper, it's not for everyone to successfully play the role of a psychopath.

Film 2021 yılında gösterime girmiş ve şu anda Netflix üzerinden izlenebiliyor. IMDB'den kontrol ederseniz son zamanlarda oldukça popüler olduğunu görebilirsiniz. Belki bu 2. filminin gelecek yıl yayınlanacağı haberiyle olmuş olabilir. Filmin türü korku, gerilim ve gizem. Filmi özetlemek isteseydim bu 3 kelime yeterli olurdu.

Her zaman olduğu gibi bu kısımdan sonrası küçük spoilerlar içeriyor. Finney Blake, başroldeki çocuğun yaşadığı mahallede küçük çocuklar ortadan kaybolmaya başlıyor. Maalesef ölü ya da canlı şekilde bulunamıyorlar. Bu da etrafta çocukları kaçıran bir katil olduğuna dair söylentilere sebep oluyor. Yine de nasıl oluyorsa küçük çocuklar okula yalnız başlarına gidip geliyorlar lol. Bu filmdeki en büyük saçmalık sanırım buydu. Etrafta böyle bir söylenti olduğunu düşünün, çocuğunuzun tek başına dışarı çıkmasına izin verir misiniz?

Birkaç kişiden sonra katilimiz Finney'i kaçırıyor ve bir bodruma hapsediyor. İşler buraya kadar zaten garip olsa da asıl buradan sonra garipleşiyor. Bulunduğu odada sadece siyah bir telefon, bir döşek ve parmaklıklı bir pencere var. Telefon bir gün çalmaya başlıyor ve başta hiç ses gelmeyen telefondan birkaç sefer sonra garip konuşmalar duyuyor. Bunların ne olduğunu ve kimler tarafından yapıldığını söylemeyeceğim.

Finney oradan kaçmak için her yolu deniyor. Sanırım filmdeki saçma sahnelerden bir tanesini de burada görüyoruz. Finney bir ip yardımıyla zorlayarak penceredeki parmaklığı çıkartmayı başarıyor ancak içeriden çıkamıyor. Peki nasıl oluyor da parmaklığı geri takıyor? Bunu soruyorum çünkü oraya yetişemiyor bile lol.

Filmde garip olan bir başka şey de Finney'in kız kardeşinin garip rüyalar görmesi ve Finney'in nerede tutulduğuna dair bir şeyler de görmesi. Babası ve polisler onun bir kaçık olduğunu düşünüyor. İlginçtir ki bu çocuk da sürekli olarak tek başına dışarı çıkıyor. 8-9 yaşlarında bir kız çocuğu abisi kaçırıldıktan sonra bile tek başına dışarıda dolaşıyor. Bu fazla mantık dışı. Sonunda abisinin tutulduğu yeri de rüyasında görüyor ve onu kurtarmaya gidiyorlar. Ancak gördüğü rüyalar gerçekten doğru mu çıkıyor? Yoksa bütün bunlar sadece bir saçmalık mı? Finney tutulduğu yerden kurtulabilecek mi? Kaçırılan diğer çocuklara ne oldu? Bütün bu soruların cevabını bulmak için filmi izlemeniz gerekiyor. Vay canına sanırım bu en az spoiler verdiğim film inceleme gönderim olabilir haha.

Filmden çıkarılacak ilk ders etrafta böyle söylentiler varken, yani güvenilir bir mahallede yaşadığınızdan emin değilken çocuğunuzu asla yalnız başına dışarı göndermeyin. Bu gerçekten kabul edilemez. Bir başka şey, eğer çocuğunuz rüyasında bir şeyler gördüğünden size bahsediyorsa onu dinleyin ve özellikle rüyasında gördüğü şeyler doğru çıkıyorsa ona biraz güvenin. Bu gönderiyi yaşı küçük biri okursa diye not ekleyeyim, tanımadığınız insanlarla mümkün olduğunca iletişime geçmeyin. Günümüz dünyası maalesef o kadar güvenli değil.

Filme bir puan verecek olursam 10 üzerinden 8.5 veririm. Güzel bir korku gerilim filmi arıyorsanız göz atmanız iyi olacaktır. Ben senaryoyu beğendim, yukarıda bahsettiğim saçmalıkları göz ardı edersek tabi. Filmde bazı beklemediğiniz sahneler göreceksiniz. Bunun yanında çocukları kaçıran kişinin oyunculuğunu gerçekten beğendim. Psikopat rolünü başarılı bir şekilde oynayabilmek herkesin yapabileceği bir şey değil.
