Actually, I made a pun in the title, but most of you didn't get it because it's in Turkish. I chose this title because today's match was played for a tournament called the Super Cup, and the match was very enjoyable. Since we haven't talked about soccer in a long time and probably won't for a few more weeks, now is the perfect time to talk about soccer.

Galatasaray faced Trabzonspor in the semi-finals of the tournament I mentioned above, and the match ended 4-1. Galatasaray was already the favorite, but I don't think anyone expected such a big difference because even though Trabzonspor's squad was incomplete, Galatasaray also had some important absences. Galatasaray dominated from the first minute until the end of the first half and closed the first half with a 2-goal lead. In fact, if Galatasaray had capitalized on the opportunities they created, the match could have been decided in the first half.

At the start of the second half, however, Trabzonspor showed some promise. They scored a quick goal and created a couple more chances. Everyone thought they would get back into the game, but then it went to 3-1 and immediately after that to 4-1. So, for Galatasaray, what was not expected to be an easy hurdle was easily overcome. Looking at the highlights of the match, Eren's return from suspension and scoring a goal must have boosted his morale immensely. I don't think he played very well in the match, but it's very valuable for a defender to score. Apart from him, Yunus Akgün and Barış each scored a goal. Both performed well. When Barış is physically strong, there are very few players who can stand up to him. Similarly, Yunus is a technically very good player.

Icardi scored again and played magnificently. He seems to have recovered physically. I think it would be great if he took a slight pay cut and accepted a 1+1 year contract. I don't think Galatasaray could transfer a better player than him. Ultimately, he's still a player who hasn't lost any of his class or scoring ability, and his brand value is very high. Even if all the players score, everyone is happier when Icardi scores. Another player I should mention is Sane. I think he was the player who broke the game with his dribbling. Galatasaray, yukarıda bahsettiğim turnuvanın yarı finalinde Trabzonspor ile karşılaştı ve maç 4-1 bitti. İkinci yarının başında ise Trabzonspor'da bir ışık vardı. Hızlı bir gol buldular ve bir iki pozisyon daha buldular. Herkes onların maça ortak olacağını düşünüyordu ama sonra maç 3-1 oldu ve hemen ardından 4-1 oldu. Yani Galatasaray için aslında o kadar da kolay geçeceği düşünülmeyen bir engel kolay aşılmış oldu. Maçta dikkat çeken anlara bir göz atarsak da Eren'in cezadan dönüp golle başlaması ona çok büyük moral olmuştur. Bence maçta çok iyi oynamadı ama bir bek oyuncusunun skor yapması çok değerli. Onun dışında Yunus Akgün ve Barış birer gol attı. İkisi de iyi performans gösterdi. Zaten Barış fiziksel olarak kuvvetli olduğunda karşısında durabilecek çok az oyuncu var. Aynı şekilde Yunus da teknik olarak çok iyi bir oyuncu.

Icardi yine golünü attı ve muazzam oynadı. Fizik olarak toparlanmış görünüyor. Maaşında biraz indirim yaparsa ve 1+1 yıllık bir sözleşmeyi kabul ederse bence harika olur. Galatasaray'ın ondan daha iyi bir oyuncu transfer edebileceğini düşünmüyorum. Sonuç olarak hala klasından ve golcülüğünden bir şey kaybetmemiş ve marka değeri çok yüksek bir oyuncu. Bütün oyuncular skor yapsa da herkes Icardi gol attığında daha mutlu oluyor. Değinmem gereken bir oyuncu da Sane. Bence yaptığı dribblingler ile maçı kıran oyuncu oydu. 1 asist yaptı ve daha fazlasını da yapabilirdi. Sanki o profesyonel bir oyuncu ve karşısındaki oyuncular amatörmüş gibi gösteriyor. Fiziki kapasitesi de çok yüksek olduğu için 90 dakika boyunca etkileyici koşular yapmaya devam edebiliyor. Onu bu yaşta desteklediğim takımda görmek benim için inanılmaz.
