Shadow Isles Kalista Carry! TFT Set 16
Actually, today is a big day, and I could have shared a post about the Galatasaray Fenerbahçe match, but I think it makes more sense to talk about it tomorrow after the match, so today I'll share a nice TFT video I played with you.

This game's universe is one where we start with a champion worth 3 gold. It can significantly change the game, but it might not affect it at all. For example, since I started with Millio, I can play an Ixtal composition.

I chose Band of Thieves as my first augment. Thieves Gloves is a powerful item in the early game.

I lost the first two fights and won the next three. I didn't actually plan to play Shadow Isles at the start of the game, but since I started with a 2-star Viego, I wanted to try it. He's been buffed a lot in the current patch, and I definitely recommend giving him a try.

In the late game, one of the most important carries in my composition is Thresh, and since he's a semi-tank champion in the front lines, Find Your Center is a good choice. This augment gives the champion in the front row of the board a 15% damage increase and 15% maximum health gain.

Ah, I hate this! I was almost ending the mid-game with a winning streak, but I lost the final fight by a very small margin. Why? Because my opponent doesn't care about their economy. They have no intention of playing for 50 gold or doing anything in the late game.

I've noticed that I've chosen the Golden Egg augment in most of my recent games because I trust the strength of my composition. This augment is high risk, high reward. If you win the fights, the egg hatches early and you get a huge reward, but keep in mind that you can't use a prismatic augment for at least 6 turns. That's a serious handicap.

Right after choosing this augment, I played against an AFK opponent and eliminated them. I guess I'm a bit lucky in this game, huh?

Kalista is really strong even at 1 star. The nice thing about this composition is that you don't have to bother searching for champions. At least in the early game. In the Shadow Isles composition, champions unlock as you push them onto the board and gain combat experience. So if you're a bit lucky, you'll have Kalista at the start of phase 4 and Thresh at the start of phase 5. You'll add powerful champions to them, and that's it.

I reached level 9 at the start of phase 5 and spent some gold to make Kalista a 2-star champion. My main carries will be Kalista and Thresh. Kalista's best items are Infinity Edge, Spear of Shojin, and Last Whisper. Those are the items I'm currently using. Thresh works great with Bloodthirster, Jeweled Gauntlet, and Hand of Justice.

The golden egg hatched and rewarded me with 2 Force of Nature, 1 Thieves Gloves, and 30 gold. Damn, that's a really powerful reward. Now I can add two more champions to my board.

I'm easily defeating even very powerful opponents. This opponent might have built one of the strongest compositions in the game, but I have a composition that's both powerful and rewarded with a golden egg.

Now I feel invincible. Despite that, a strong Ionia composition gave me a tough time. Some of my champions are still 1-star; I need to upgrade them to 2-star to secure my victory.

The final fight was easier than I expected. Just upgrading Ornn to 2-star made a difference, apparently. Actually, if I had a champion duplicator, I could have sold the entire board and tried to upgrade Thresh to 3-star, but I didn't have one.

Thank you for reading; I hope you enjoyed this composition. Don't forget to share your comments—I'll read them all. See you in tomorrow's derby post!

You had a beautiful game, my friend. I've never used Kalista in my team composition. Those spatulas you got from the golden egg were spectacular, gg
Thank you so much man, you should try Kalista. It's buffed this patch and strong, you should start the game with 2 star Viego that's it
