Day 21

Unfortunately we started the day with some bad news, no one attacked us but Arica is feeling sick. I think it is the cold because there is no other reason. I have to make sure I put wood in the stove and make sure it is full before I go out to loot at night.

On the radio there is a good news story and a news story that is not clear what it is. The armed forces have withdrawn, so now we can go back to the places that are forbidden now. I was getting bored of going to the same places, and the other news is just the beginning. I think there was a problem with the connection.

I really need water right now, so I started producing it. I didn't know Arica could play the guitar so well, even though he's sick. I wish you could hear these melodies.

The women in our house are sick, so it's up to the men to loot. It's always been like that :P I decided to go to a different place, a music club. It says I can find almost everything there, but I have to be careful.

The music club was a very strange place. It seemed like there were normal people on the lower floors and bandits on the upper floors. When I went upstairs someone told me to get the fuck out and I didn't push my luck because he looked so serious. Or to tell you the truth I didn't have a gun with me XD So I left there happy because I found a lot of things I needed.

Day 22

Last night we were attacked again, luckily we were armed enough so they didn't hurt anyone but it took us 8 bullets to fend them off. That's quite a lot. It looks like the attackers are getting serious.

There is no news on the radio, but there are 3 good ones at home. I call it home because it's like home now. We have almost everything. Anyway, on to the news, we found meat in the trap and Arica and Cveta have recovered. I'll do my best to make sure they don't get sick again.

Franco arrived and we made some very useful trades again. I give him my extra medicines and bandages and he takes them to people who need them. I buy building materials from him, like wood. Everyone's needs are different, right?

Cigarettes used to be a luxury for us, but now we have enough material to spend on them. I know we still have priorities, but the people in the shelter need a little pampering. So I've decided to start a plant workshop where I can make cigarettes and medicine. My goal is cigarettes, but making my own medicine sounds great too.

And while we're on the subject of luxury, we also need a chair. I'm building it right next to the guitar chair, so that while one person is playing the guitar, the other can sit next to it and enjoy the music.

In the night, it occurred to me that we have some revenge to take. Remember the woman at the brewery? We're going to avenge her, my friends, so I'm going to the brewery with as much ammunition as possible and Roman.

Again, as soon as I walked in the door, they started running at me. I managed to run away from them and I got them both. I think they were drunk so they couldn't attack me and they had no weapons. They only had alcohol on them. Alcohol brings death, especially if a man sees you killing an innocent woman!

I found a lot of great things for looting, but my bag was full of bullets and things to attack with. So I left some of it behind. I have to come back here for a few more days.

Day 23

Fortunately it's a quiet day, no one got sick or was attacked, so that's good.

There is one bad news on the radio. The army said it had destroyed a gang that was smuggling people out of the city by boat. This is the only way out of the city, the announcer says it's fake news. Let's hope so, my friends. As far as I know, there is no way for me to escape from the city, there is no such mechanic, but maybe innocent people could escape.

Someone came and said that a rich family didn't share their stock with anyone. He's talking about paying them a visit. Of course it's not an innocent visit. We'll probably force them to give us supplies. I agreed because we need it. And if they have extra supplies, they should be willing to give them to us, they better be.

Finally, my vegetables have grown! 3 days is a really long time but it made me very happy in the end. 4 vegetables means I can make 8 meals with enough meat. This is not a problem as I have a lot of meat. We are almost no longer dependent on the outside for food.

At night I decided to go to the brewery again. I have looted 23% of it yet, which means there is still some great stuff there. There was no danger there so I decided to go with Arica.

There were a lot of great things there, but what excited me the most was the 30 waters I found. I can cook with them for a long time or use them to grow plants. I guess there is nothing more natural than finding water in a brewery, right?

I think we have progressed far enough for today so let's continue our adventure in the next chapter. I am grateful for reading and keeping me company. I'm very happy to have avenged that woman.
