Retro Shen Carry! TFT Set 15

Kobuko visited us in the game and said we'd get the second power fruit earlier. It doesn't really affect the game much.


This is the augment I need. Twilight Assault turns your strongest Shen unit into a long-range marksman. The ability no longer grants a shield but deals additional damage.


Early game didn't go well for me because Shen was only 1-star and I had no items. I only won 1 fight, and I wish I hadn't won it and could have had a losing streak instead.


Radiant Refactor is one of the best augments. It lets you radiantize an item and grants you a 1-component item forge. This way, I can both create the item I want and radiantize Guinsoo's Rageblade, which is the most important item.


In the mid-game, I managed to get Shen to 2 stars, and because I gave him two Guinsoo's Rageblades, he started shredding opponents with very fast attacks. From there, I went on a winning streak. That's because I also chose the best power fruit for Shen. Thanks to Double Strike, he sometimes triggers two attacks in a row, which allows him to kill opponents much faster.


Actually, I wanted to get a functional combat augment as my final augment, but there's no such option among the silver augments. So I took Pandora's Reserves and hoped to get Shen to 3 stars early.


However, I couldn't keep my winning streak going because my opponent was playing a carry like Janna, and since they managed to get three stars, they dealt a lot of damage and provided shields to their allies, so I couldn't defeat them. But that's okay because I managed to find many of the champions I was looking for. The only thing missing is a three-star Shen.


Finally, I managed to get 3-star Shen and gave him the right items: 2 Guinsoo's Rageblades and one Giant Slayer. Shen showed his power and dealt incredible damage.


Shen also demonstrated his power against the Karma carrier. He doesn't eliminate enemies instantly, but he grows stronger over time and, thanks to his quick strikes, eliminates those enemies before they can destroy my tanks. For now, the only thing missing is a burn item.


I also really like the Crew composition, but it doesn't stand much of a chance against me. It only managed to kill two of my champions and was eliminated. If you can't get all your champions to 3 stars, Crew becomes very weak.


I activated the 6 Bastion trait at level 8, and now my front lines are much tankier. My opponent is playing a really strong Kaisa composition. They have 3-star Kaisa, Darius, and Kobuko, but even so, they couldn't even come close to beating me. I think I can win first place unless something absurd happens.


I reached level 9 and completed my composition with 4 Edgelords. Despite having a very unlucky fight, I defeated a strong Karma composition.


I don't know how many Karma players were in the lobby, but eliminating them one by one took some time XD But it's great to be on the winning side in the end. I eliminated this one just in time because it was almost going to turn a 4-gold champion into a 3-star.


Who could have predicted that Janna the carry would be this strong and make it to the final two? Luckily, she wasn't that strong against me. Still, I need to be careful. If I make a few mistakes, I might lose.


I lost to her once and got a little nervous, but I tweaked my lineup a bit and managed to win in the end. It pays to always stay alert. GG!
