Damn! These are so scary. I'm so glad you were able to kill it. Still, this bug would make a delicious snack for your chickens.
Also, this post reminded me of the giant wasp in my house. It was a terrible day!

I was bitten before and the area was swollen.
Thankful we able to kill it or I might ended up cleaning the whole house.
