My Supermarket Update! Bigger and Better
It's been over a month since I shared with you a game called Supermarket Simulator. I said that I would share updates about the game every now and then, but not everything turned out as I expected. This will probably be the last post about the game and you will soon find out why.
First of all, as you can see in the cover photo, everything is starting to get messy. That's because I'm no longer a small grocery store like in the early game, but a big supermarket that sells a lot of things. That means I have a lot of shelves and it's very tiring to stack them all one by one. The developers say they will add a shelf stacker to the game, but it's not clear when that will happen. Some players have experienced it, but unlike the cashier, it's extremely slow.
Anyway, now that I've said the last thing I need to say, I can continue with my supermarket update. You can see how much easier the cashier makes things. I can show you the inside of the store while he takes care of the customers. Don't ask me how I got here. In this respect, I'm on top of a refrigerator to show you around.
Pardon me? Look who I ran into at the checkout. It's John Wick! I hope he's got his dog with him and nobody hurt him, I don't want him to destroy my shop. I like having that kind of clientele in the game. There are characters like Slenderman and it adds variety.
By the way, I took a look at the map in the game and it's not as big as I thought it would be. It seems that playing basketball is the only activity you can do in this game. There is nothing else to interact with. Maybe if there was a sit on the benches feature, we could sit and look around and it would be nice.
So here's the final version of the shop. It's been a long time since you last saw it and I've expanded my shop and now I'm selling different kinds of products. As you can see, cleaning supplies, different foods like rice, cat and dog food are on the shelves.
Now I also sell peppers, cabbage, cauliflower (my favorite), avocados and many more fruits and vegetables. Frozen products have also been added to the inventory. You can buy ice cream, frozen peas, French fries, pizza in our shop. I want to mention a few things I don't like about the game. Customers ask for a new product when you have a license to sell it. Almost every customer asks for those products, but once you get the license and add them to the shelves, you can only sell 1 or at most 2 per day. Whereas products like milk, cabbage, coffee and orange juice sell dozens a day. This doesn't make much sense to me lol. Because I pay a lot of money to license new products and I want to be able to make more money, but if they buy the old cheap products, it is very difficult for me to move forward.
Let's take a closer look at the shelves. The drawings of these products look much better in the game but on the computer the drawings look bad. Much bigger screen, huh? Milk and cocoa chocolates are on the shelves. We also have different types of chips.
Finally, let's take a look at the warehouse. As you can see I have at least a few spare boxes of each product. This is very important because when I order in bulk, it can take up to a day to get them all delivered to the shop. I tried that once and it was crazy. It took about 16 hours. So I'm ordering in bits and pieces every day. I don't know if you've noticed, I've also expanded the warehouse.
I don't know if I'm going to keep playing this game, I look at it about 10 minutes a day and that's it. I think I'll take a break until a stable shelf stacker is added. I can't stack shelves for 1 hour every day, if I liked it I would do it in real life and make money XD
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. Don't forget to share your thoughts with me in the comments, take care and have a great day!

Ah maan, we don't sell Lahmacun yet or kebab 😂 Thanks for stopping by
I've expanded my supermarket twice but do not have a warehouse, and I only order enough stock to fill my shelves. I find it a little therapeutic to stack my shelves but I only have a few to do so it doesn't take long. So I agree with you, if you were to do that all the time, you might as well get a real job! 😄
I made a promise to myself, I won't play this game until the shelf stacker update 😂
I'm still waiting for a post from you about this game. Btw your shop looks dirty. That should be something new 😂 I've never seen anything like that. So we have to clean that as well? Come onnn, that company should pay me 100 dollars daily 🤣
You don't get spills and garbage in your shop? I get it every day but just leave it till the end of the day. I still don't know what the shelf stacker does, he was standing outside not doing anything so I fired him. Maybe coz I didn't have any deliveries
No, I never get that. It's very interesting lol. That shelf stacker should stack the deliveries to the shelves. If you don't have deliveries so that's normal that he doesn't work. It was too slow anyway. They need to fasten it like 3-4 times.
In itself managing a super market is difficult, both alone and in company, and this game is very close, only more fun and more colorful haha.
Yeah it's kinda fun but tiring at the same time 😂

These simulation games are becoming very popular lately, I have had the opportunity to see several articles about different simulation games, some better than others. There was one that I liked quite a lot, I don't remember its full name, but it is about a tavern and you practically have to rebuild it by dint of work.
This one you show here about how to manage a supermarket is very similar and the truth is that it looks pretty cool, it is true that it has its imperfections such as the stacking of the shelves, I think most of these games have those details that tend to become boring for the player.
I don't think it will last long that update to stack shelves in a more efficient way. The creators need to take advantage of the plus that the genre is having and keep the community happy.
I hope you hang in there a little longer and don't give up, so you keep putting your supermarket to the top of your game, everything looks great and very organized.
Thanks for the nice comment man, it shouldn't have taken this long, but the giants are working more on visual updates at the moment, which is funny. They should work on updates that will make the game much better first.
A great detail what you say, it is very bad that they are working on something that does not benefit the players. The soul of a game is supposed to be those who play it and therefore they should listen first to the requests of the community. Unfortunately, because of this kind of decisions from the creators, games end up dying.
Simulators seem to be addictive, maybe it's time to try one? Even though you don't want to keep playing it, how you tell it arouse interest in trying it.
You can try and like it. It's a good game, it just can be boring because of the stacking shelves after you grow your supermarket.
