Mobile Trends: Clash Royale
If there is one company that has made its mark on the mobile gaming industry in recent years, it is Supercell. Clash of Clans is perhaps the most played online game among mobile games. I played that game for years. Those were good days. Now, I will share with you the new trend, Clash Royale.

Clash Royale isn't actually a new trend. The game has been on the market for over nine years, but Supercell is such a successful company that the game is still played by thousands of people. I think this is something most game companies can't achieve. When a game is released and suddenly starts being played by thousands of people, they don't know what to do and end up making wrong updates, causing players to abandon the game. However, Supercell is a company that has managed to achieve this with all the games it has released so far. Other companies should take this as an example. If I’ve praised the company enough, I can now move on to introducing the game.
If you’re curious about how it’s played, here’s an in-game video for you:
Before I explain how it's played, let me tell you about the deck. As you can see in the video, you play different cards in sequence. These cards appear randomly from the 8 cards in your deck. You need to set up this deck before the game starts.
There’s a collection tab where you can view the cards in your hand. Here, you can level up your cards or add them to or remove them from your deck. You need to balance these cards well. You can’t just choose ranged characters or tank characters. Games can develop in many different ways, so it’s best to have cards that allow you to develop strategies in any situation, including spells.
Be sure to check the store before starting a battle. You can earn great rewards in exchange for gold every day. Don't worry about gold. As you play the game, you'll see how easy it is to accumulate thousands of gold.
Your goal in the game is to destroy your opponent's main tower with your cards. If you destroy it, you'll earn three stars and defeat your opponent. Sometimes you can sacrifice one of your own side towers to destroy your opponent's main tower, which is a good trade-off. I lost a tower in this battle, but most of the time, losing a tower doesn't matter.
You earn a chest for the first four battles you win each day. I assume this is done to encourage you to log in every day. These chests can contain gold or pieces to enhance your cards.
As you fight, level up your cards, and earn XP from various sources, you gain experience points. These points allow you to level up. When you level up, you receive a chest as a reward. Inside, you can find cards, gold, and gems.
One of the things Supercell does well is integrating cards you purchase with real money, like the Battle Pass, into the game effectively. I don't know what the prices are like in Clash of Clans right now, but for this game, it's quite expensive and not something I would buy. However, you can still earn free rewards without purchasing them. To do so, you need to defeat your opponents and win cups.
When it comes to in-game gameplay, the logic is very simple: send your tanks upfront and follow with your damage-dealing characters. There are also characters in the game that are both tanks and damage-dealing characters, like duelists, but sending them upfront isn't a good idea. I think what helps you win the game is analyzing your opponent's attacks, deflecting them, and then launching a quick counterattack. I usually start the attack first, beginning with a Giant or Mini Pekka, and then immediately sending out Archers or Cannons. I sometimes use different strategies depending on my opponent's defense. The only thing I haven't been able to use effectively so far is spells. I can't use fireballs or arrows properly. The goal is usually to eliminate the opponent's ranged characters, but I always fail in terms of timing.
I'm not claiming to be great at this game; after all, I'm a beginner. Maybe if I keep playing, I'll get better. If you play this game, don't forget to leave me some tips in the comments. Sorry about the vertical images, unfortunately most mobile games are played in vertical mode.
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. See you in the next game post!

@shiftrox started it, but abandoned us 😭
Mano até dá uma saudade, mas e o tempo para jogar kkkkk, eu comecei a jogar um outro a noite no pc que é tipo um slay the spire mas gatcha e to gostando kkkkk
Sei nem do que vc está falando. Kkkkkk slsy the spire mas gotcha?!
I used to play this game, and now again i am playing coc and clash royale. It is more addictive 😬
Yeah this kind of games addicts you but I'm just trying to play a few games a day 😂
Great, good luck bro 🍀

I always found that sad about this game. I mean, on the one hand I like the gameplay it has, it's quite fun and light, but on the other hand there's the monetization which, in various periods of time, has been quite aggressive. I played it years ago and haven't heard anything about it for a while now, but a few weeks ago I read people complaining about the new update and a more aggressive p2w xd.
i never spend on this game, and have much fun...
i think you only spend if you want to grow fast. but that dont mean you will always win. you need to know how to play
That's true, there is something like evolving for the cards which you can only do with money. It makes the game p2w but when you start over there is no strong players, everyone plays with the starter deck is fun 😅
I see very good reviews of this game. Maybe after I get over my Rumble mourning, I'll try playing another Android game, even though it will be a little difficult for me.
