A few days ago I shared Hoynat Island with you. I'm sure you all remember and I told you that this place is very special to me. And today I will explain to you why it is special. This is the place where I proposed to my fiancée.

You remember this photo, don't you? When I was taking this photo, I was planning in my head how I was going to propose and I told my fiancée's sister about my plan. We made a plan together.

We started taking photos from a different angle where we could see the island. You can see in the photos that my girlfriend was oblivious to everything. Meanwhile, the ring is in the right pocket of my jacket. It is not very obvious in the photos, but if you look carefully you can see that there is something there.

I took the ring out of my pocket and I am holding it next to her but she is still not aware of anything. At that moment her sister came and started showing the photos to her sister and my fianceé noticed the ring. So I got down on one knee and proposed! It was an extremely exciting moment for me and I had a hard time even kneeling down and saying “will you marry me?” My fianceé's family was with us, there were so many people around and so many other things. I honestly think I showed great courage 😂

In this photo you can see the ring on her finger and the happiness on her face. Unfortunately my hair is a mess. I was going to take a hair dryer with me but the hair dryer at home was broken. Interestingly, my fianceé and her family don't use hair dryers. I tried to explain to them that this is a very bad thing but they didn't care. But they all suffer from migraines. You can guess why they get migraines, right? Because their hair stays wet for a long time.

Another beautiful photo, I'm so happy to have her with me, and I know I'm late with the proposal, I should have done it much earlier, but sometimes you don't have the opportunity. Seriously, we've hardly seen each other lately and this was my only chance to propose. If I hadn't proposed here, I probably would have had to propose before the wedding. At least I didn't propose that late.

A souvenir photo from that day with my fianceé and her family. Hive is more than just a social platform for me. It is a place where I can share my best days to my depressions. I am happy that many of them will stay here forever. Years from now, my son will see the memories I've shared here and ask me about things he's curious about. And I will be able to answer them without difficulty because I have written down many details, including how I felt.

Başka bir açıdan adanın görüneceği şekilde fotoğraf çekmeye başladık. Fotoğraflarda kız arkadaşımın hiçbir şeyden habersiz olduğunu görebilirsiniz. Bu esnada yüzük benim ceketimin sağ cebinde. Fotoğraflarda çok belirgin değil ama dikkatli bakarsanız orada bir şeyler olduğunu görebilirsiniz.

Yüzüğü cebimden çıkardım ve yanında tutuyorum ama o hala hiçbir şeyin farkında değil. O esnada kız kardeşi gelip ablasına fotoğrafları göstermeye başladı ve nişanlım yüzüğü fark etti. Ben de diz çöktüm ve evlilik teklif ettim! Bu benim için aşırı heyecanlı bir andı ve diz çöküp "benimle evlenir misin?" derken bile zorlandım. Nişanlımın ailesi yanımızdaydı, etrafta çok fazla insan vardı ve daha bir sürü şey. Açıkçası büyük bir cesaret sergilediğimi düşünüyorum 😂

Bu fotoğrafta parmağındaki yüzüğü ve yüzündeki mutluluğu görebilirsiniz. Saçlarım maalesef berbat durumda. Oraya giderken yanıma saç kurutma makinesi alacaktım ama evdeki saç kurutma makinesi bozuktu. İlginç bir şekilde nişanlım ve ailesi saç kurutma makinesi kullanmıyor. Onlara bunun çok kötü bir şey olduğunu anlatmaya çalıştım ama pek önemsemediler. Oysa hepsi migrenden şikayetçi. Neden migren olduklarını tahmin edebiliyorsunuz değil mi? Saçları uzun süre ıslak kaldığı için.

Bir başka güzel fotoğraf, o yanımda olduğu için çok mutluyum. Evlilik teklifi konusunda geç kaldığımı da biliyorum. Çok daha öncesinde etmeliydim ama bazen fırsatınız olmuyor. Ciddiyim, son zamanlarda birbirimizi neredeyse hiç göremedik ve bu evlilik teklifi için tek fırsatımdı diyebilirim. Burada teklif etmeseydim muhtemelen düğünden önce teklif etmek zorunda kalacaktım. En azından o kadar geç kalmadım.

Nişanlım ve ailesiyle o günden bir hatıra fotoğrafı. Hive benim için sadece bir sosyal platformdan daha fazlası. En güzel günlerimden, bunalımlarıma kadar paylaşabildiğim bir yer. Pek çoğunun burada sonsuza kadar kalacak olması beni mutlu ediyor. Yıllar sonra oğlum burada paylaştığım anıları görecek ve bana merak ettiği şeyleri soracak. Ben de neler hissettiğim dahil olmak üzere pek çok detayı yazdığım için hatırlamakta zorlanmadan cevaplayabileceğim.
