During my visit to the Ordu I visited many places of interest, and Hoynat Island was one of them. This is an extra special place for me, but you will find out why in a few days.

Since Hoynat Island is far from the center, we set off by car with my fiancé and her family. It was foggy and that makes the journey more beautiful because you can see the beauty of the surroundings as you get closer. You can only see the top of the mountains when you pass by.

I told you how green Ordu is and you can see it for yourself. There are flowers, grass and trees everywhere, including on the roadsides. I am sure the fact that it rains very often has a big contribution to this.

We finally got there and it has a great view. There is no direct access to the island but sometimes there are boat trips. You can join one of them. This island is a bird sanctuary and one of the few places where rare bird species nest. If you zoom in you can see people doing something on the beach. I don't know what they are doing, it looks like they are trying to touch the water.

From the other angle, this place looks perfect. A landscape where the green of the trees, the blue of the sea and the sky meet. Birds are flying in the sky. In the photo you see a seagull, I think it is flying towards the island. On the right of the second photo you can see some cars. Many people have come to see this place.

It is very relaxing for me to be here. It is a great pleasure to watch the sea. The Black Sea is normally a more choppy sea but when we were there it seemed quite calm. I am adding a few more photos from different angles so that you can enjoy the view too.

There are two different information signs about Hoynat Island. As you can see, the information sign says that this place has been under protection as an Important Bird Area since 2006. It is also known as the only place in Turkey where crested cormorants, one of the rare bird species I just mentioned, nest. 90 pairs of crested cormorants and 250 pairs of silver gulls were detected on the island. Of course, these numbers may vary over the years. By the way, did you notice the license plate in the second photo? I removed the numbers from the license plate with artificial intelligence and I think it looks successful. Of course, it's not the best, but I'm sure I would have gotten a better result with a few more attempts. I didn't dwell on it because it's not very important, but I don't think it looks tampered with at first glance.

People always find a way to make money, right? There was a man waiting there with his parrot and if you want to take a photo with the parrot in this view you have to pay. Not me, but the woman in the photo asked the price and the only thing I remember now is that it was very expensive. Not worth the money for a few photos. In the background of the photo you can see cafes where people can sit and have something to eat and drink.

I couldn't go there without taking a picture with my girlfriend in this wonderful view. The way she looked at me was absolutely priceless. This place will always be a very beautiful place in my memory.

I didn't forget to take a picture by myself for a memory. You can see I've gained weight, right? I have to diet until the wedding. Otherwise I won't look good in a suit 😂

Ordu ziyaretim sırasında pek çok ilgi çekici yer gezdim. Hoynat Adası da bunlardan biriydi. Burası benim için ekstra özel bir yer ama bunun nedenini birkaç gün sonra öğreneceksiniz.

Hoynat Adası merkezden uzakta olduğu için nişanlım ve ailesiyle arabayla yola çıktık. Hava sisliydi ve bu yolculuğumuzu daha güzel hale getiriyor çünkü etraftaki güzellikleri yaklaştıkça görebiliyorsunuz. Dağların tepesini ancak yanından geçerken seyredebiliyorsunuz.

Size Ordu'nun ne kadar yeşil bir şehir olduğunu söylemiştim ve bunu kendiniz de görebilirsiniz. Yol kenarları dahil olmak üzere her yerde çiçekler otlar ve ağaçlar var. Çok sık yağmur yağan bir yer olmasının buna büyük bir katkısı olduğuna eminim.

Sonunda oraya vardık ve harika bir manzarası var. Adaya direkt olarak erişiminiz yok ancak bazen tekne gezileri oluyor. Bunlardan birine katılabilirsiniz. Bu ada bir kuş cenneti ve nadir kuş türlerinin yuva yaptığı nadir yerlerden biri. Fotoğrafları yakınlaştırırsanız sahil kenarında insanların bir şeyler yaptığını görürsünüz. Ne yaptıklarını bilmiyorum, suya dokunmaya çalışıyor gibi görünüyorlar.

Diğer açıdan da burası mükemmel görünüyor. Ağaçların yeşilliğinin, denizin mavisinin ve gökyüzünün buluştuğu bir manzara. Gökyüzünde kuşlar uçuşuyor. Fotoğrafta gördüğünüz bir martı, sanırım adaya doğru uçuyor. İkinci fotoğrafın sağında bazı arabalar görebilirsiniz. Pek çok insan burayı görmeye gelmiş.

Burada bulunmak benim için çok rahatlatıcı. Denizi izlemek büyük keyif veriyor. Karadeniz normalde daha dalgalı olan bir deniz ama biz gittiğimizde oldukça sakin görünüyordu. Siz de manzaranın tadını çıkarabilin diye birkaç farklı açıdan fotoğraf daha ekliyorum.

Hoynat Adası hakkında iki farklı bilgilendirme tabelası var. Gördüğünüz gibi bilgilendirme tabelasında buranın Önemli Kuş Alanı olarak 2006 yılından beri koruma altında olduğu yazıyor. Ayrıca az önce bahsettiğim nadir kuş türlerinden biri olan Tepeli karabatakların Türkiye'de yuva yaptığı tek yer olarak biliniyor. Adada 90 çift tepeli karabatak ve 250 çift gümüş martı tespit edilmiş. Tabi bu sayılar yıllar içinde farklılık gösterebiliyor. Bu arada ikinci fotoğraftaki araba plakasına dikkat ettiniz mi? Plakadaki sayıları yapay zekayla yok ettim ve bence başarılı görünüyor. Tabi ki en iyi değil ama eminim birkaç deneme daha yapsam daha iyi bir sonuç alırdım. Çok önemli olmadığı için üzerine düşmedim ama bence ilk bakışta üzerinde oynanmış gibi görünmüyor.

İnsanlar para kazanmanın bir yolunu her zaman buluyor değil mi? Orada papağanıyla bekleyen bir adam vardı ve bu manzarada papağanla birlikte fotoğraf çektirmek isterseniz ödeme yapmanız gerekiyor. Ben değil ama fotoğraftaki kadın fiyatını sormuştu ve şu an hatırladığım tek şey çok pahalı olduğuydu. Birkaç fotoğraf için bu parayı vermeye değmez. Fotoğrafın arka planında insanların oturup bir şeyler yiyip içebileceği kafeleri görebilirsiniz.

Oraya gitmişken bu harika manzarada kız arkadaşımla fotoğraf çekmeden dönemezdim. Bana olan bakışları kesinlikle paha biçilemez. Burası her zaman hafızamda çok güzel bir yer olacak kalacak.

Anı olsun diye tek başıma fotoğraf çekinmeyi de unutmadım. Kilo aldığım çok belli oluyor değil mi? Düğüne kadar diyet yapmam şart. Aksi takdirde takım elbisenin içinde iyi görünmeyeceğim 😂
