When I was thinking about what to cook tonight, my hosts brought me a plate of what she had cooked. I thought, she does this all the time. She must know that I have a hard time with food because she knows that I live alone, and she is such a good person that whenever she cooks, she brings me a plate. Does she have to do that? No, because I can never reciprocate like that, because she cooks 10 times the amount of food that I can cook when she wants to. I try to help her and her husband as much as I can. When I go to the market, I always ask them if there is anything they want. I have shopped for bread and vegetables for them a few times. This is a great happiness for me because they always help me. For example, they don't mind if I pay the rent a few days late. This is how the world should be, but unfortunately not everyone is like my host, some people harass the tenant when the rent is not paid on time and even try to kick them out of the house.

Sometimes on social media I see people fighting over the smallest thing, it's so ridiculous, I can't believe it, they kill each other over a parking space. Is this the new normal? Some people fight even when they are discussing who is the best singer. Sometimes I can't understand them, but I can't be mad at them either, considering how stressed everyone is nowadays. Everyone has so many problems. You see someone passing by and he looks very happy but he has 1000 different thoughts in his head. "Will I get a promotion? Will there be traffic when I leave work? What time will I get home? How will I make things right with my colleagues? How can I make my child happy? I need money. How will I pay the rent?"

Then there are the people who spread goodness and happiness around them. Despite everything, their faces are smiling and there is not the slightest evil in them. They avoid fighting because they know there is no solution. By fighting you can only defeat those who are weaker than you, but when the strong ones come, the consequences can be bad haha. I always try to be one of them. I think we need to laugh and smile. It makes me happy to see the other person smiling. I am sure that many people who read this post will want to see someone smiling when they go out, whereas they will be upset when they see someone with a sour face.

Selam sevgili okurlarım umarım iyi bir gün geçiriyorsunuzdur. Ben gayet iyiyim. Dünyada her geçen gün iyi insanların azaldığını ve daha garip, daha kötü, daha zorba insanların arttığını düşünüyorum. Gördüğümüz haberler, çevremiz de bunu ispatlar nitelikte. Ancak iyi insanlar hala var.

Bu akşam ne yemek yapacağım diye düşünürken ev sahibim yaptığı yemekten bir tabak da bana getirdi. Düşündüm de bunu hep yapıyor. Yalnız yaşayan biri olduğumu bildiği için yemek konusunda zorlandığımı biliyor olmalı ve o kadar iyi bir insan ki ne zaman bir yemek yapsa bir tabak da bana getiriyor. Bunu yapmak zorunda mı? Değil çünkü ben onlara asla böyle karşılık veremiyorum. Sonuçta benim yapabileceğim yemeklerin 10 katını o zaten istediği anda yapıyor. Ben de olabildiğince ona ve eşine yardımcı olmaya çalışıyorum. Markete giderken mutlaka istedikleri bir şey olup olmadığını soruyorum. Birkaç kere onlar için ekmek ve sebze alışverişi yaptım. Bu benim için büyük bir mutluluk çünkü her zaman bana yardımcı oluyorlar. Örneğin kirayı birkaç gün geç yatırsam da problem etmiyorlar. Dünya böyle bir yer olmalı ama maalesef herkes ev sahibim gibi değil, bazı insanlar kira gününde yatırılmadığında kiracıyı rahatsız ediyor ve hatta evden atmaya çalışıyorlar.

Bazen de sosyal medyada insanların en ufak şey için kavga ettiklerini görüyorum. O kadar saçma şeyler ki, inanamıyorum. Park yeri için birbirlerini öldürüyorlar. Bu yeni normal mi? Bazı insanlar en iyi şarkıcının kim olduğunu tartışırken bile bir anda kavga ediyor. Bazen onları anlayamıyorum ama günümüzde herkesin çok stresli olduğunu düşünürsek onlara kızamıyorum da. Herkesin o kadar fazla problemi var ki. Yoldan geçen birini görüyorsunuz çok mutlu da görünüyor ama kafasında 1000 farklı düşünce var. "Terfi alabilecek miyim? İşten çıktığımda trafik olacak mı? Eve saat kaçta döneceğim? İş arkadaşlarımla aramı nasıl düzelteceğim? Çocuğumu nasıl mutlu edebilirim? Paraya ihtiyacım var. Kirayı nasıl ödeyeceğim?"

Bunun yanında bir de etrafına iyilik ve mutluluk saçan insanlar var. Her şeye rağmen yüzleri güldüğü gibi içlerinde de en ufak bir kötülük yok. Kavga etmekten kaçınıyorlar çünkü bunun bir çözüm yolu olmadığını biliyorlar. Kavga ederek ancak sizden güçsüz olanları yenebilirsiniz ama güçlü olanlar geldiğinde sonuçları kötü olabilir haha. Ben her zaman onlardan biri olmaya çalışıyorum. Gülmeye, gülümsemeye ihtiyacımız olduğunu düşünüyorum. Karşımdaki insanın gülümsediğini görmek beni mutlu ediyor. Eminim bu postu okuyan pek çok kişide dışarı çıktığında gülümseyen birini görmek isteyecektir, oysa suratı asık birini gördüğünde keyfi kaçacaktır.
