Hey, I hope you're all well. Ben, today I will continue to share with you the impressive beauties in Ordu. After Hoynat Island, our next stop is Cape Yason and Yason Church. If you like both natural and historical places, you will love this place.

Yason Cape is quite far from the city center, but as soon as you get there, you realize how worth it it is. Even though it is a bit messy in the photo, the calmness and serenity of the sea makes you feel happy.

Contrary to my expectations, Yason Cape was quite crowded. We had a hard time finding a place to park the car. The fact that people came here despite the cold weather made me more excited about what I was going to see.

Isn't it a beautiful view? It's like a scene from a movie. According to some rumors, there are plans to shoot a big movie here. A mythological movie, of course it should be shot in a place where the sea is so powerful. I think Turkish cinema is weak in this regard. We actually have a rich geography in terms of mythological or science fiction films, but we have very few such movies.

Take a closer look at the first photo. Do you see the birds on the rocks? Actually, they were also in the two photos above, but they are not very striking. They are camouflaged on the rocks because of their color. I wonder what they are doing there, are the three friends chatting or is it a family?

Plus the rocks always give you a dark feeling. Especially when we're talking about black rocks on a cloudy day. I don't know if it's a feeling passed down to us from the movies or if it's always been like this. You know in mystery or drama movies a person sits against the cliffs in the rain and cries and stares off into the distance.

There is an information sign here about Cape Yason and the Church of Yason. It is not very detailed but I liked the fact that it was translated into many different languages. Not everyone may be proficient in Turkish or English, after all, tourists from different countries also visit this place.

This is how the church looks from the outside. There were so many people that it was very difficult to take a photo without them being visible. As you can see, it is not a very flashy or huge church. But there are still beautiful details on the door and the workmanship.

There is another information sign inside but there is no different information than outside. There is basic information like it was built in 1869 by Greeks and there are two different entrance doors.

First let me show you how it looks from a wide angle camera. Contrary to what it looks like from the outside, it is quite spacious inside. It has big and strong columns.

Let's take a closer look. I love this arched architecture, it's very aesthetic to me. As in many churches, colored glass is used. In the last photo on the left side, I think that's the part where people light candles and worship.

By the way, the stones used on the walls of the church looked as if they had something written on them. Maybe they had drawn something on them. I'm not sure what they are, maybe they are just stones that have eroded over time.

There are benches around the church for people to sit and rest. Instead people were busy taking pictures for Instagram. Everyone is trying to make memories.

Two photos taken from two different angles outside the church. Nature is taking over, isn't it? You can see the grass growing out of the roof.

As we kept walking, we found a secret place there, where you could see the sea through the branches of the trees, ideal for taking photos. A lot of people discovered this place after us and I saw everyone taking pictures of the view. We only took a few because it was a bit risky, one wrong step and you will end up in the Black Sea.

The closer you get to the tip of Cape Yason, the more beautiful the view becomes. No matter how far you look, you can see nothing but the Black Sea. People have picnics watching this view.

This place is like a scene from a real movie. Soon the main character will come and shout towards the sea from here 🤣

Views from other angles. It was getting colder and the fog was about to obscure the houses around. I will use some of these photos in the horror story I shared with you recently.

We are very close to the very tip of Cape Yason, the orange color of the rocks adds a different atmosphere to the landscape. There have been wedding shoots here before. Unfortunately, my girlfriend told me that this is no longer possible. I thought it would be a great shot with the wind blowing on a hot summer day.

And I did it! I made it all the way to the lighthouse at the far end. I had to come here alone because the wind was increasing as I got closer to the end and my fiancé and his family didn't want to get sick. I'm a fan of finishing what I set out to do, and I don't know when I'll be able to come back here again.

I had to have a memory photo in this beautiful view, right? You can tell how cold it is by the zipper of my jacket being closed. Normally I don't mind cold weather.

Since I have come this far, I should show you the scenery of this whole journey. Some have just left and some are already back. It's a wonderful sight to watch.

By the way, if you wish, you can stop by the cafe when you first arrive at Cape Yason or you can have a drink there before you leave. It is well thought out and the prices are not too expensive. We preferred a hot tea.

There are also small shops where you can buy souvenirs. Glasses, local shoes or ship models, key chains are indispensable for souvenirs and you can choose from many kinds.

Just as I was about to leave, I realized that there is a legend about this place.
According to the legend, a prince named Yason wants to take back the throne he usurped from his father from his uncle, but his uncle asks for the Golden Fleece in return. According to the legend, this hide is in a distant kingdom guarded by a dragon. The princess in the kingdom falls in love with Yason and helps him get the hide from the dragon. Jason stopped here on his way back with the princess and the golden fleece.

Maybe that's why this place is called Cape Jason, who knows?

Yason burnu şehir merkezine oldukça uzak bir yer ama oraya gider gitmez buna ne kadar değer bir yer olduğunu anlıyorsunuz. Fotoğrafta etraf biraz dağınık olsa da denizin verdiği o sakinlik ve dinginlik insanı mutlu hissettiriyor.

Beklentimin aksine Yason Burnu oldukça kalabalıktı. Arabayı park edecek bir yer bulmakta çok zorlandık. İnsanların soğuk bir havaya rağmen buraya gelmiş olması göreceğim şeyler konusunda beni daha çok heyecanlandırdı.

Ne kadar güzel bir manzara değil mi? Sanki bir film sahnesi gibi. Bazı söylentilere göre burada büyük bir film çekilmesi planlanıyormuş. Mitolojik bir film, denizin bu kadar güçlü olduğu bir yerde elbette çekimler yapılmalı. Türk sinemasının bu konuda zayıf olduğunu düşünüyorum. Mitolojik ya da bilim kurgu filmleri konusunda aslında zengin bir coğrafyaya sahibiz ancak çok az filmimiz var.

İlk fotoğrafa biraz yakından bakın. Kayalıkların üzerindeki kuşları gördünüz mü? Aslında onlar yukarıdaki iki fotoğrafta da vardı ama pek dikkat çekici değiller. Renklerinden dolayı kayalıklarda kamufle olmuşlar. Orada ne yaptıklarını merak ediyorum, üç kafadar sohbet mi ediyorlar yoksa bu bir aile mi?

Artı olarak kayalıklar her zaman insana karanlık bir hissiyat veriyor. Hele bulutlu bir günde simsiyah kayalıklardan bahsediyorsak. Bu bize filmlerden geçmiş bir his mi yoksa hep böyle miydi bilmiyorum. Bilirsiniz hep gizem ya da dram filmlerinde bir insan kayalıklara karşı yağmurun altında oturup ağlar ve uzaklara dalar.

Burada Yason Burnuna ve Yason Kilisesine ait bir bilgilendirme levhası var. Çok detaylı değil ancak pek çok farklı dile çevrilmiş olması benim hoşuma gitti. Herkes iyi seviyede Türkçe ya da İngilizce bilmiyor olabilir, sonuçta burayı farklı ülkelerden turistler de ziyaret ediyor.

Kilise dışarıdan böyle görünüyor. Çok fazla insan olduğu için onların görünmediği bir fotoğraf çekmek çok zordu. Gördüğünüz gibi çok gösterişli ya da devasa bir kilise değil. Fakat yine de kapısında ve işçiliğinde güzel detaylar var.

İçeride bir başka bilgilendirme tabelası daha var ama dışarıdakinden farklı bir bilgi yok. 1869 yılında Rumlar tarafından yapıldığı ve iki farklı giriş kapısı olduğu gibi temel bilgiler var.

Önce size geniş açı kamerasından nasıl göründüğünü göstereyim. Dışarıdan görüntüsünün aksine içerisi oldukça geniş. Büyük ve sağlam sütunları var.

Biraz da yakından bakalım. Bu kemerli mimariyi çok seviyorum. Bana çok estetik geliyor. Pek çok kilisede olduğu gibi renkli camlar kullanılmış. Son fotoğrafta sol tarafta gördüğünüz yer insanların mum yakıp ibadet ettiği bölüm sanırım.

Bu arada kilisenin duvarlarında kullanılan taşların üzerinde sanki bir şeyler yazıyormuş gibi görünüyordu. Belki de üzerine bir şeyler çizmişlerdir. Ne olduklarından emin değilim, belki de sadece zamanla aşınan taşlardır.

Kilisenin etrafında insanların oturup dinlenebilmesi için banklar yapılmış. İnsanlar onun yerine İnstagram için fotoğraf çekmeyle meşguldü. Herkes anı biriktirmeye çalışıyor.

Kilisenin dışından iki farklı açıdan çekilmiş fotoğraf. Doğa ele geçirmeye başlamış değil mi? Çatısından fışkıran otları görüyorsunuz.

Yürümeye devam ettikçe orada gizli bir yer bulduk. Ağaç dallarının arasından denizin göründüğü, fotoğraf çekmek için çok ideal bir yerdi. Bizden sonra burayı çok fazla insan keşfetti ve herkesin manzarada fotoğraf çektiğini gördüm. Biz sadece birkaç tane çektik çünkü biraz riskliydi, yanlış bir adımla kendinizi Karadeniz'de bulacaksınız.

Yason Burnu'nun uç noktasına doğru yaklaştıkça manzara daha da güzel hale geliyor. Ne kadar uzağa bakarsanız bakın Karadeniz'den başka bir şey göremiyorsunuz. İnsanlar da bu manzarayı seyrederek piknik yapıyorlar.

İşte burası gerçek bir filmden alınmış gibi. Birazdan başrol karakter gelip buradan denize doğru bağıracak 🤣

Başka açılardan manzaralar. Hava gittikçe soğuyordu ve sis etraftaki evleri gözden kaybetmek üzere. Bu fotoğrafların bazılarını geçtiğimiz günlerde sizinle paylaştığım korku hikayemde kullanacağım.

Yason Burnunun en uç noktasına çok yaklaştık, kayalıkların turuncu rengi manzaraya farklı bir hava katıyor. Burada daha önce düğün çekimleri de yapılmış. Kız arkadaşım maalesef bunun artık mümkün olmadığını söyledi. Sıcak bir yaz ayında esen rüzgarla harika bir çekim yapılabileceğini düşünmüştüm.

Ve başardım! En uçtaki deniz fenerinin oraya kadar geldim. Buraya yalnız gelmek zorunda kaldım çünkü esen rüzgar uca yaklaştıkça artıyordu ve nişanlım ve ailesi hasta olmak istemediler. Ben ise bir yola çıktıysam onu bitirme taraftarıyım. Üstelik bir daha buraya ne zaman gelebilirim bilmiyorum.

Bu güzel manzarada bir anı fotoğrafım olmalıydı değil mi? Ceketimin fermuarının kapalı oluşundan havanın ne kadar soğuk olduğunu anlayabilirsiniz. Normalde soğuk havayı dert etmem.

Buraya kadar gelmişken bütün bu yolculuğun manzarasını size göstermeliyim. Bazıları yola yeni çıkmış bazıları ise çoktan dönüyor. İzlemek için harika bir manzara.

Tam oradan ayrılmak üzereyken burayla ilgili bir efsane olduğunu gördüm.
Rivayete göre Yason adında bir prens amcasından babasından gasp ettiği tahtı geri almak ister ancak amcası bunun karşılığında Altın Post ister. Yine rivayete göre bu post bir ejderha tarafından korunan uzak bir krallıkta. Gittiği krallıktaki prenses Yason'a aşık olur ve ejderhadan postu almasına yardım eder. Yason prenses ve altın postla birlikte dönerken burada mola vermiştir.

Belki de buraya bu yüzden Yason Burnu deniyordur kim bilir?
