Buy, Sell and Repeat! Mobile Game Review

Recently, one of my close friends on Hive, @captainquack22, mentioned that he's been playing a lot of mobile games lately. I've also been playing a lot of mobile games lately, and I've decided to share them with you. First, I'll introduce a game called Bid Master.

This image is created by chatgpt with my prompts

First, I want to mention a couple of things. When I play mobile games, I pay attention to two things: Can this game be played without an internet connection? Why is this important? Because games that require an internet connection just to log in will show you thousands of ads within the game, and you won't enjoy playing it. The second thing is that the game should be free. Bid Master meets both of these criteria, so you can download and try the game with peace of mind.

I've been playing this game for a while now and have progressed quite a bit, but I'll explain it to you from the very basics. The goal of the game is to participate in auctions, buy products, sell them for as much as possible, and become the richest person from the bottom up. At first, the products you buy will be around $50-100, and you'll get them from the first map.

Before the auction starts, you have a short time to see the estimated price of the items and examine them. At this point, I wish I could make more accurate predictions and know the prices of more items as I progress, but unfortunately, no matter how far you advance, you can never learn the price of some items. You only get descriptions like “priceless,” “worth a try,” or “not interesting.”

Then the auction starts, and people bid. The highest bidder gets the item, but you have to make sure you don't pay more than the item is worth. When you first start the game, you don't even have a dollar to throw away. If you click on the calculator icon at the bottom, you can see the average value of the items. If you click on the tomato logo, you throw tomatoes at people, and they can't bid for a while. You can also kick people out of the auction with the boot icon. You can kick out a maximum of 2 people per warehouse.

You don't need to bid constantly; wait until people stop bidding and the auctioneer says there's very little time left, then bid. The items will mostly be yours. Sometimes they can increase the bid, but it's rare.

You choose which items to take to the warehouse. At first, everything is worth taking to the warehouse, but later you don't need to take the cheap items. Don't let them take up space in the warehouse for nothing.

Now you need to put the items you bought up for sale in the pawn shop. It takes a certain amount of time for these items to go on sale. Then you will start receiving bids. I think you should accept them as long as the bids are positive. This way, you can participate in new auctions and sell more valuable items. You need to create a circulation.

Before listing the items, make sure they don't have any repair or inspection marks. This will cause you to sell these items below their value.

You can buy items not only from auctions but also from the customer button at the bottom left. Every 30 minutes, someone will come to you and suggest an item. Here's a life-saving tip: Whatever price the customer wants to sell for, offer exactly 1/3 of that amount and buy the item at a profit. I didn't know this at first and learned it through trial and error. Customers always inflate the prices they tell you XD Even if you buy at half the customer's suggested price, you're still at a loss.

You just saw that the gold pharaoh statue is worth around $1,300. I brought it to the appraisal academy, and this way, we'll find out if it's genuine or fake.

If the item is real, as you can see, its value can increase up to 2.5 times.

But if it's fake, then its value decreases significantly.

By the way, you don't have to try to buy items from the warehouse at auctions. If you think you won't make a profit from this warehouse, you can skip the auction by clicking the skip button at the bottom left. The only thing you'll lose is 10 energy, which is insignificant. I don't remember ever having an energy problem while playing this game.

You can repair your broken items at the repair workshop. This will take a little time, but the value of the items will increase.

There are many activities in the game, and you can participate in special auctions and buy nice items there. Don't assume these will always be profitable; for example, I paid $25,000 for items worth a total of $13,500. I got ripped off!

Sometimes you can buy chests from warehouses and open them with a locksmith to get the items inside. While this seems fun, I haven't seen it make any money so far. It always contains very cheap items.

This game is really comprehensive and fun. I should warn you that it can be addictive! Maybe I'll post another article about the game and show you how to make money from different areas. Some of them I couldn't even figure out myself :P

Thanks for reading. If you like mobile games and this genre, check out this free game. It's called Bid Master. See you in the next post!

I hate those annoying ads in free games too. Whenever I find a good offline game, I just take its permission to connect to the internet away and play without turning off the internet on my phone.

Imagine buying a fancy gold Pharaoh artefact from an auction, and it turns out to be a fake. That would suck!
