Back to Winterfell - Frostpunk 2
Greetings to all my readers following the series, I hope you are all in a good mood and reading this post while drinking your hot coffee. Get ready for another exciting adventure!
In the previous chapter, research and exploration continued. It was especially important to strengthen the generator. We continued to deal with the perversions of the Yilmaz, they were trying to kidnap the pilgrims' children, but I didn't let them. The biggest development is that we finally made it through the white storm. To do it without any casualties is a great achievement, but people are not having the happiest of days because the pilgrims keep vanishing.
After weathering the storm, I can proudly say that I have visited every location on the map. There are no new places left for me to explore. Now I can only send people to places I've already explored and didn't consider worth using, and build outposts.
After we got through the storm, people started to worry, what if the storms come again and this time they last much longer? We need to make this generator much better and there is only one way to do that and that is to find more cores. The only place where we can find that many cores is the Winterfell, which we remember from the first game. We need to go there and get the cursed cores, but it won't be easy.
Here begins Part 3. Back to the Winterfell!
We are told not to rush the return to Winterfell. I don't know what to think about it, the sooner I go there and get the cores, the faster I can develop the generator. But it is also said that it will be very difficult to return to Winterfell. Let's see what awaits us.
Not being able to explore new places on the map means I can't find new sources of food. So I need to build more food zones in the city.
The Yilmaz are angry that I didn't let the Pilgrims take care of their children, and they say they won't forget it. Excuse me? I think I've given you enough privileges, mate.
More and more people are starting to live among us, creating a housing problem. I've filled many parts of the city with houses, fortunately I don't have a heat problem and I still have space.
The Pilgrims drenched themselves in oil next to the generator and then tell people that we should live there instead of taking the beans from Winterfell. I wouldn't prefer it anyway because it would go against the flow of the story, but this doesn't make sense. Why migrate to a place that has already been tried and failed?
The material from the map has also become very scarce. So I'd better build a sawmill. Of course, I need to research it first.
Sometimes people come up with ridiculous things. This New London researcher says research is futile because we don't put it into practice. But I just researched and built a sawmill and now I'm going to build another one lol.
Our city weathered the storm, but there were still places on the map where it still had an impact. Winterfell is finally out of the storm's grip and available for exploration. Let the exploration begin.
Volunteer people want to use professional tools. This may be risky, but it will boost production. Since they made this request themselves, let's see what happens. I'll let them use the tools.
We've built the roads between Winterfell. Now it's time to send colonists there. This will be a very important decision. But now I have a lot of resources and a lot of population. If not now, when?
When the Yilmazes settle in Winterfell, they want to take the leader of the travelers with them. I think they plan to eliminate him there, but I won't let them. They're getting really annoying.
Watching colonists move across the map is a joy. I can't wait to see when they will be there.
Yilmazlar says that they have done the research, they just need the law to be approved. They say this research will reduce the need for labor and slightly increase poverty. That seems acceptable.
We've made a lot of progress this episode, we're on our way to our new colony and we'll probably encounter something there in the next episode. What are they? Let's see it together. Thank you very much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. Don't forget to share your thoughts with me in the comments. See you!
I really like the graphics quality of this game. I really want to play these games, but I can't play because I don't have a computer.
Excuse me, bro? What's this game got to do with a girlfriend?
