I mentioned that we couldn't go out during the day in Antalya because of the heat, so walking around at night was a great option. Watching the sunset is nice, but walking around at night is something else.

The streets weren't as crowded at night as we expected, and there were mostly locals rather than tourists. I guess everyone was waiting for the temperature to drop by at least a few degrees. The reason I say this is because the temperature, which was 38 degrees during the day, dropped to around 32 degrees at 11 p.m. So I expected it to be at least 25 degrees at night, but no, it was still very hot.

There is a large statue of Atatürk in the square. It's wonderful to see Atatürk, one of the most important figures in our history, everywhere. People, especially people today, are very forgetful; they quickly forget what was achieved under what conditions, and those great victories seem as if they were very easy. Just as some things should not be exaggerated, I think Atatürk's achievements should not be taken lightly.

In Turkey, every city and town has these signs where you can go and take a photo to show you love that city. We saw one and wanted to take a photo. We didn't know anyone there, and we saw another couple trying to take a photo. I went over and told them I could take their photo, and then they took ours. Win-win.

I thought most people would be walking on the pier, but the pier side was very deserted. Since I won't always be able to see it like this, I took a nice photo. There are so many boats, aren't there? Almost more than the number of people XD

We decided to walk to the very end of the pier. Good thing we did because the view was amazing. The color of the water looks weird in the photo; I don't know why.

So, what happens if your wife bumps into your arm while you're taking a photo of the city lights? The photo looks like this, of course! It looks like I took it while crying. Did I find some kind of Instagram filter?

On the other side of the pier, people were going into the sea. Going into the sea at night is a different kind of pleasure, but I would never do that in places where I don't swim regularly. I can't blame them because, as I said, even at night, people need to do this to cool off.

Before leaving, I took a photo of my queen. I think I'm talented at taking photos, unfortunately my wife isn't as talented as I am 🤣

It's great that the cafes near the pier are built in line with the architecture I shared in my previous post. This place wouldn't look nice if it had a different concept.

Didn't I tell you it wasn't very crowded outside? Forget that! It was like there were thousands of people. Is 11 PM the best time to shop? I guess so.

On our way back to the hotel, we discovered a new place to explore. It looks like a door opening to somewhere. We'll check it out as soon as possible!

My wife took a photo of me in front of this place, but I don't know why I look so tired. I wish she had told me to smile more. I'm sure I could have posed better XD

Antalya'da hava sıcaklıkları yüzünden gündüz dışarı çıkamadığımızı söylemiştim bu yüzden geceleri dolaşmak çok güzel bir opsiyondu. Güneşin batışını izlemek güzel ama gece dolaşmak farklı bir şey.

Geceleri caddeler beklediğimiz kadar kalabalık değildi ve turistlerden ziyade çoğunlukla yerel halk vardı. Sanırım herkes en azından havanın birkaç derece serinlemesini bekliyor. Böyle söylememin sebebi gündüz 38 derece olan sıcaklığın gece 11 civarında 32 dereceye düşmesi. Yani gece en azından 25 derece olmasını beklerdim ama hayır hala çok sıcaktı.

Meydanda büyük bir Atatürk heykeli var. Tarihimiz açısından en önemli insanlardan biri olan Atatürk'ü her yerde görmek çok güzel. İnsanlar özellikle de günümüz insanı çok unutkan, hangi şartlar altında nelerin başarıldığını çabucak unutuyorlar ve o büyük zaferler sanki çok kolaymış gibi görünüyor. Bazı şeylerin abartılmaması gerektiği gibi Atatürk'ün yaptıklarının da hafife alınmaması gerektiğini düşünüyorum.

Türkiye'de her şehirde ve beldede o şehri sevdiğinize dair yanına gidip fotoğraf çektiğiniz böyle yazılar var. Bir tane gördük ve fotoğraf çekmek istedik. Tanıdığımız kimse yoktu ve orada fotoğraf çekmeye çalışan başka bir çift gördük. Ben yanlarına gidip onları çekebileceğimi söyledim ve sonra onlar da bizim fotoğrafımızı çektiler. Win win.

İnsanların çoğunlukla iskelede yürüyeceğini düşünüyordum ama iskele tarafı çok ıssızdı. Burayı her zaman böyle göremeyeceğim için güzel bir fotoğraf çektim. Ne kadar çok tekne var değil mi? Neredeyse insan sayısından daha fazla XD

İskelenin en ucuna kadar yürümeye karar verdik. İyi ki de yapmışız çünkü manzara harikaydı. Suyun rengi fotoğrafta garip görünüyor, neden olduğunu bilmiyorum.

Peki şehrin ışıklarını çekerken eşiniz kolunuza çarparsa ne olur? Fotoğraf böyle görünür tabi ki! Sanki ağlarken çekmişim gibi görünüyor. Bir çeşit Instagram filtresi mi buldum?

İskelenin diğer tarafında insanlar denize giriyordu. Gece denize girmek farklı bir keyif ama ben sürekli yüzmediğim yerlerde bunu asla yapmam. Onları suçlayamam çünkü dediğim gibi gece bile insanların serinlemek için bunu yapmaya ihtiyacı var.

Oradan dönmeden önce kraliçemin bir fotoğrafını çektim. Fotoğraf çekme konusunda yetenekli olduğumu düşünüyorum, maalesef eşim benim kadar yetenekli değil 🤣

İskeleye yakın olan kafelerin de bir önceki gönderimde paylaştığım mimariye uygun olarak yapılmış olması harika. Burası farklı bir konseptte olsa hoş görünmezdi.

Size dışarının çok kalabalık olmadığını söylemiştim değil mi? Bunu unutun! Sanki binlerce insan vardı. Alışveriş yapmak için en ideal saat gece 11 mi? Sanırım öyle.

Otele dönüş yolumuzun üzerinde gezmek üzere yeni bir yer keşfettik. Burası bir yere açılan bir kapı gibi görünüyor. En kısa sürede kontrol edilecek!

Eşim buranın önünde bir fotoğrafımı çekmiş ama neden bu kadar bezmiş göründüğümü bilmiyorum. Keşke bana daha çok gülümsememi söyleseydi. Eminim bundan daha iyi poz verebilirdim XD
