9 Mage Nomsy Carry! TFT Set 7.5 Revival

TFT Set 16 is currently being tested and played on the PBE server. I could download and play it if I wanted to, but instead I'll enjoy Set 7.5 for now because I've noticed that I get bored much faster with the sets I play on the test server. Anyway, that set will be with us for a long time, so I'll start playing it when it becomes available on all servers on December 3rd.

In this game, Bard summoned his friends. That means a lot more loot!

I chose an augment specific to this set called Thief of Essence. This augment allows mages' attacks to steal 8 mana from their opponents and gain 4 mana for themselves.

Unfortunately, Astral and Mage compositions are extremely popular in the game. So I know I won't be playing this composition alone. I have to do something different from them. I won 4 out of 5 fights in the early game. I only lost that damn 3rd round, which prevented me from getting a winning streak.

If you're playing a Mage composition and your items are bad, you have only one option. Thanks to Pandora's item augmentations, I'll be able to customize my items as I see fit.

I managed to get through the entire mid-game with a winning streak, but it was close. I don't understand why my opponents are so strong lol. I managed to find a Sohm, which allowed me to activate 5 mage traits.

My goal was to have another carrier alongside Lux. Sohm wasn't reliable enough as a second carrier. That's why I chose Nomsy. The easiest way to get her to 3 stars is with small champion duplicators. That's why I chose Heroic Grab Bag as my augment.

This damn Kled is way stronger than I thought. He doesn't deal any damage when I play him, but when my opponent plays him, he beats even my very strong composition. Losing my winning streak wasn't good at all.

Just as I was winning consecutively, I started losing consecutively. The reason is, of course, that I couldn't level up and strengthen my team. Because my goal was to make Nomsy 3-star. For that, I started rolling constantly at level 7.

Meanwhile, the Gnar compositions I showed you earlier were already complete and extremely powerful. They were easily defeating me. Luckily, I only need to find one Nomsy. Then the nuclear bomb will be ready!

Did you see that? Exactly 7k damage. My opponent didn't even know what hit them before the fight was over! Because both Nomsy and Lux are now ready to eliminate their opponents. Plus, they steal their mana, preventing them from using their abilities.

Of course, it wasn't just Lux and Nomsy who reached 3 stars during this process. I also managed to get Sylas, one of the most important tanks and champions in this composition, to 3 stars. This gave me an edge over other mage compositions. For example, I easily defeated this Astral composition.

This was the real test for me. I already expected to be strong against mage compositions, but against a Gnar carry? Tested and approved! I won against him too, though it was tough. But if I don't position my carries correctly, Gnar or Nidalee can sneak into the backlines and defeat me.

I also managed to beat the Kled composition. I don't understand how a 2-star Kled can be so strong. Especially since his items aren't great. I mean, Rabadon's Deathcap is given to an ability power carry, but he's an attack damage carry. Maybe one day I should play Kled as a carry.

Unfortunately, not everything is rosy. This opponent was playing a mage through Astral, and I managed to find an emblem. This allowed me to turn Aurelion Sol into a mage, and then making him a 2-star made him overly powerful. There must be a way to beat him, but how?

I managed to beat him! But I think beating him was purely down to luck. So if Aurelion Sol uses his ability on my front lines and my Nomsy uses his ability on the back lines, it's an easy win. Setting that up is impossible, I'd say. Let's see whose side luck is on.

Damn! He won one fight, and I barely won another. I'm positive about the next fight because I'll have a chance to make 9 Mages.

I won another fight, and everything comes down to the final battle.

And I won the final fight easily. We can say luck was on my side. Let's add Zoe's ability to the luck factor because the ability she used at the start of the fight changed everything. For example, in this fight, she used the ability that made her teammates invulnerable, and as you can see, the fight wasn't even close. It looks like an easy victory. But there was a big luck factor and tension behind it :P

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. Don't forget to share your thoughts with me in the comments. See you in the next post!

In this event, I used the composition of dragons, and wow that's pretty broken, but you can never have all the dragons in a single encounter as it costs a lot of capacity, only one of them is worth 2 champions and they are quite strong, but with them you can guarantee the top:D
