CineTV Contest: Toy Story

" To infinity and Beyond!! "

Our childhood was a lot of fun, I would say; the movie industry kept us engaged with back-to-back interesting cartoon movies. I have watched a lot of interesting cartoons and movies and I can vividly recall every interesting scene in those movies.

This movie, directed by John Lasseter and released by Pixar Animation, is a very special movie that changed my perspective on Toys. I keep this long stare, looking right into their eyes to check for any movement or a single blink but I think they're too professional to keep still.

The cowboy toy, woody was always so special and the most loved toy by Andy. He was the most played-with toy amongst other toys and he always loved that, the jealousy and envy came when a new toy, Buzz light-year was brought in. Woody noticed how the attention, love and care was diverted from him to this new toy. He was always in thought, feeling rejected and irrelevant.

This is also common in life, many people are so Special and relevant in other people's life but there will come a time where they will turn to strangers. Buzz always looked at himself as a light ranger with an assigned mission and not a toy but woody sees himself as a toy to Andy. Woody saw Buzz as a threat to his relationship with Andy.

While being captured by Sid who was a Toy torturer, both Toys had to keep their differences aside and make an escape plan, they finally found their way out of Sid's torture and went back to Andy's room. Even with their unevenness they were able to achieve something great.

The movie is such an interesting one, there's toy story 2 and maybe 3. I will really love to watch it again. One of the characters I loved to see was Mr and Mrs potatoes, I recently saw a comparison that it actually looks like Steve Harvey..lol.
