This is my entry for the #monomad challenge

These photos tell a simple, familiar story of which many of us know well. Today has been a rainy day in my community. Buckets and basins have been set out to catch rainwater, a practical way to make the most of what nature gives. Chickens move around the wet ground, pecking and looking for shelter. In one corner, logs of firewood are stacked, cut earlier and now left to dry for cooking. The house in the background, made of zinc sheets and blocks, are not fancy, but it stands strong a home built with what’s available. All around, reminds us of how closely connected this life is to the land. It’s a quiet scene, but full of meaning resilience, resourcefulness, and the everyday rhythm of life. THANK YOU
