Yes it's Teachers day, I am a certified teacher and I love my profession. sometimes I feel bad for my country that in a world were teachers impart knowledge on everyone but they choose to deprive teachers of good welfare packages. Oh! I forgot they say teachers reward is in heaven, but please let the welfare packages be better. The value of a teachers work cannot be quantified.

Teachers go through a lot, to impart knowledge to your kids, parents accord them the respect they deserve. Nowadays I see parents slap their children's teacher, fight them because of one thing or the other. and then I remember that my Dad is a retired teacher and you cannot try that with him or during his time as a teacher. Parents ; teachers deserve every care and support.

I have learnt patience, tolerance, humility in the course of this profession, what a lovely profession were you get teach and still learn at the same time, we are like soldiers we don't get tired, each day you become stronger 💪 .

Today parents no longer allow thier kids speak thier indigenous language, and here I am trying to promote my language, I teach my indigenous language (Ibibio) and you know it's easy to teach a child or someone who's not from my place the language than teaching a child who's from here from my experience , they are always anxious of learning a new language ❤️ . In all of this, my children do make me proud.

I am a proud teacher and I love my profession.
