Disappointment: Can you handle it?

Human beings are very emotional in nature and most of us can't hide our emotions. There are people who don't even express their emotions. One begins to wonder if they are really humans or they are simply without problems.

How do you handle disappointment? well one cannot say he is an expert when it comes to dealing with disappointment. For me it's one of the most difficult feelings to handle.
I remember when I was a kid and my mum promised to get me a new pair of shoes if I passed my examination with good grades. My result was out and I had good grades. To my disappointment my mum did not keep his promise. I cried my eyes out that fateful evening.

I see some people eating a lot just to overcome that feeling of disappointment. Some even go on vacation or shopping spree. Well for me I don't think there is an acceptable way of handling disappointment, as humans we have emotions and when hurt it's quite difficult to keep it in check.

When next you are disappointed and you feel angry, don't worry it's part of the human emotions. Let's guide our hearts and know that no human is perfect and one is bound to disappoint you. So brace up and stay strong.
