Bika And Her Ghost Friends

It's a rainy and cold night; the wind is whistling, and everyone is all tucked in their beds. Lights go off, and everywhere becomes dark. Then she walks into a tall figure, staggering as if it's about to fall. The eyes of this scary-looking man are red, and his hair looks burned. He grabs Bika by the hand; she screams and jumps out of bed. Mrs. Rose rushes into Bika's room. "What is the problem?" Mrs. Rose asks as she turns on the light. "I saw a ghost," Bika answered. "There is no such thing as a ghost," Mrs. Rose said with a smile.

Bika is a beautiful young girl. She is 13 years old and the only child of her parents. She is one of the best students in her class, and all her teachers love her because she is well behaved. Mrs. Rose is a businesswoman who owns a retail shop. She is a very busy woman who rarely has time for herself or her family. Her busy schedule has been a source of conflict between her husband and her. Mr. Tino is of the opinion that she needs to spend more time with her family. Mr. Tino is an accountant for one of the biggest multinational companies in Goji Town.

"Good morning, Dad." Bika greeted her father. "Good morning, my princess. I heard you had a scary dream last night. Mr. Tino asked. "Yes, Dad, I saw a ghost," Bika replied. "There is no such thing as a ghost; I guess you watched a scary movie before going to bed," Mr. Tino said. "No, Dad, you know I don't like watching movies before going to bed," Bika replied with a bright smile on her face. "It's nothing to worry about; I guess it's just a one-off thing," Mr. Tino said as they walked towards the SUV parked by the driveway.

"Good morning, Ruth, Bika greets her friend. Ruth looks at Bika and says, "You look like you haven't had enough sleep." "Yes, I had a nightmare. I saw a ghost last night." Ruth laughs and falls to the floor, "who still believes in ghosts." Bika shakes her head and walks into the classroom.

A loud scream from Bika's room wakes Mr. Tino up. He rushes into Bika's room and finds her folded in a corner of the room, shaking and sweating. "What is wrong, my child?" Mr. Tino asks Bika as he turns on the light. "Dad, I saw a ghost," Bika says as she holds onto her father. "My daughter, it's just a dream, my beautiful daughter. Daddy loves you♥️." Mr. Tino spoke as he planted a kiss on Bika's forehead. "I promise you, my baby girl, that I will beat up that ghost when next it comes around," Mr. Tino said, stamping his feet on the floor. "Dad, do you mean the ghost will be back?" Bika said it with a frown on her face. "No, my daughter, the ghost heard what I just said, and I'm sure he is scared," Mr.Tino said.

"Ruth, I had the same dream again last night," Bika said as she handed out a cookie to Ruth. "The ghost took me on a journey to the amusement park last night. He took me to a part of the park where there were other ghosts, and they all welcomed me and offered me some food and drinks. As I was about to take the drink, it turned to cockroaches and stared laughing at me". Ruth looked stunned. "This is scary, and for a 13-year-old girl, it's very worrying." Bika looked at Ruth and asked, "Do you think I'm possessed by some spirits or haunted?" Ruth looked at Bika and couldn't say a word.

"Darling, are you not worried about our daughters constant nightmares?" Mrs. Rose asked her husband. "Well, I'm worried, but what can we do about it?" Mr. Tino said this with his arms wide open. "A dreamcatcher is the solution," Mrs. Rose says. Mr. Tino laughs and says,Who believes in a dreamcatcher? "That is just a fictitious belief that has not been proven to work." "Well, if you believe it will solve this issue we have at hand, then no problem." Mr. Tino said as he walked away.

"Mummy, what is this by my bed?" Bika questions her mom. "My beautiful daughter, it's called a dreamcatcher; it will make you stop having those nightmares," Mrs. Rose said with a smile on her face. "Okay, Mummy, thank you," Bika says as she walks back to her room.
"Good morning, Mum and Dad. I hope you guys had a great night's rest." Bika said as she jumped on the chair. "What are we having for breakfast?" Bika asked. Mr. Tino and Mrs. Rose looked at each other a little confused. They had not seen Bika so excited in the past two weeks. "So Bika How was your night?" Mrs. Rose asks Bika. "Oh, Mum, I had a wonderful night's rest, and guess what? I didn't have a nightmare last night." Mrs. Rose screams and jumps all over the living room. "The dreamcatcher worked," Mrs. Rose said, and her face was lit like the sun.

For a young girl, I can only imagine the trauma she has from the nightmares, it's good that she had some peace

It's a scary and lovely story at the same time. As parents it is good to pay attention to your children and believe them, because the little things ignored are the root of much more bigger problems.
Thanks for sharing your story.

Most parents fail in the aspect of paying attention to their children. It's very important in order to avoid a bigger issue

Haha Mr Tino must think oh so dream catcher works😅😅,
The story was very fun, like how Bika thought she was possessed by evil spirits and how the dream catcher helped her sleep peacefully.

It's heartwarming to see how Bika's parents, especially her mom, took action to help her overcome her nightmares.

After the installation of the dream catcher, Bika got relief from bad dreams and it was great to see her excitedly preparing to eat breakfast with her family in the morning. Bad dreams have a very bad effect on the young mind and their normal life gets disturbed.
Wish you success.

It's funny how they believed in a dreamcatcher but didn't believe in ghost haunting one in their dreams. But the happy part was that a solution was provided and once again bika could have a good sleep
