Good afternoon everyone and welcome to my blog.
We've been asked to share our experiences about our hobbies, if they've changed with what loved doing during childhood.

Hobbies are important part of our lives, always giving us that a much-wanted and needed break from our daily activities. If we take note, we'll see that as we grow and evolve, our hobbies often change, reflecting that our interests, priorities, and personalities about things are shifting. I'll share my personal story of how my hobbies have transformed over time and the things I'm more passionate about in this current phase of my life.

Childhood and Teenage Years

Growing up, I loved reading, drawing and painting. I could spend hours drawing, painting. As a pupil or student then it was an important activity, infact it was in everyone's to-do-list. But I termed mine a hobby becayse, i was able to relax and have fun just reading. There's this happiness that I knew more, I loved reading novels, anything art and science. For painting and drawing, it was kinda what I used to express myself. My mom said my drawings always look like what I did in a world of imagination. Lastly, sports. What was my day without sports, even if I wasn't doing it , I was reading about it.

But while growing and aging, I noticed that started loosing interest for these things. I started having interest to do other things. Let's take a look at my current phase.

Current Phase

What I have noticed my current phase is that, my hobbies are channeled in a way to help me relax and be stimulated mentally. Things I used to do before are kind of tiring. Though I still do them once in a while but not as a hobby. For example reading, its being a long while I read books like novels, science, fiction. It's now academic books or personal development books. I have discovered that now , I love to dancing. Dancing snaps me out of every bad mood, keeps me in check and makes me very happy.
Another one is singing, at first I didn't like singing even when I knew I had the voice, seemed like stress to me. But now, I'm loving it, took a good step by joining the choir, joining weekly contest here on Hive and the rest.
Lastly, I've been taking a lot of good pictures lately. And not just taking them, I take them for fun.

Our hobbies are a reflection of our personal growth. As we pass through the different stages of life, our interests and passions may shift, but the importance of having hobbies remains constant. It's very okay to embrace your changing interests and explore new hobbies, you never know the hidden talents or passions you might discover, just like me.

Thank you for stopping by.
Best wishes ❤️
