The One Chore I'd Gladly Bid Farewell to.

Good evening everyone and welcome to my blog. Special thanks to @hivenaija for this weeks prompts. Wishing you all a happy Sunday and a jolly new week.

In our everyday life, we are in between juggling responsibilities, our jobs, sometimes school for some of us and even kingdom activities. Sometimes there just a lot of tasks to do that you might even end up in overworking yourself.

Ranging from work deadlines to doing household chores or even personal commitments, each of this responsibility demands its slice of our time and energy. However, the question here is that if I was given chance to pick a chore / responsibility i could get rid of, which would I choose?

There are alot but one just stands out. It's the one that gets me thinking all the time. The responsibility of feeding myself. Like.... I didn't really know what it felt like to shoulder that particular responsibility. Life was all easy. Coming back home to see food, eating and demanding more not even caring to ask where it came from.

Everything dawned on me when I lost both parents. I saw and felt what my parents went through everyday. With my dad having to provide snd then my mom having to cook, the time, energy and all that.

Becoming an emergency adult, having to think of what to eat, going grocery shopping, cracking your head here to make it last a little bit, and having to still do other tedious work. I just wish I can ho back to my old life 🤦. But I have come to accept it because it's like a training ground for my future. But if I still have my way it is one responsibility I'll bid farewell to. Maybe getting a robot sef.

I know there are other chores like laundry. Oh how I hate to do the laundry. The thought of washing majes me sick, that particular chore never ends, moves in a cycle.

Yes i know every chore holds the significance of helping to maintain order and functionality in our lives. But also, the thought of getting rid of one forever, oh how relieving that will be. It seems like I'm lazy sha but sometimes letting go of a burden can help create some dosce for something more fun to do and enriching.

And also I want to try and also create time for my personal stuffs. It becomes so uninteresting and energy draining after doing these chores and then you end up having little or no time for yourself. I just want to be able to create maximum time for myself, be able to do more fun things, even get a new hobby or better still go for a vacation. And also create time for my personal growth and even make more friends and meaningful relationships.

Stress is also reduced and my energy levels increased. Sometimes I can't even do fun things at all because my energy is always drained which is not supposed to be so.

Thank you for stopping by.
Best wishes ❤️

Becoming an emergency adult, you might have gone through a lot that I can't imagine, feeding one's self isn't easy, especially with the current economy of our dear nation but I know you will get through it strong and better.
