We already knew «Bitcoin Jesus». We now have «AI Jesus» (chatbots).
In #Christianity exist services like AI #Jesus, Virtual Jesus, Jesus AI, Text with Jesus, Ask Jesus and many others (alongside chatbots like the #Buddhist «Norbu AI» and in #Islam «Brother Junaid at Salaam World»).
A South African university’s professor of #philosophy has studied them. He found they bring a new kind of challenge to #religions:
a) Their depictions of #God are incredibly powerful. A chat is initiated & woven by all the bots as if it were Jesus himself speaking. AI can come across as extremely convincing;
b) no #church endorses the Jesus #chatbots he studied;
c) for-profit companies are behind them.
Jesus chatbots have the potential to become a powerful tool of ruthless #manipulation by the companies behind them. It will be difficult to hold them #accountable and they may become super rich in the process.
Absolutely demonic.

The thing is, in Islam, you can't make an AI Bot based on God, because God in Islam is so powerful, the mere thought of "imagining" Him is outside human capabilities.
It just won't feel like God, as Islam describes Him, no matter how convincing it may sound like to people with weak-belief...
Also, upon which data/beliefs these "Jesus" are based on? Christians don't all agree about Jesus depictions, and if AI took all of them, it'll bring way too inconsistent results.
Wow... This is DARK!!!!
