After #Spotify, #Discord, and several other popular apps, Google is beginning to implement “#age #verification” as a requirement to be allowed to use its services—including performing a #search—and automatically changes the account settings of those who do not meet its criteria.
Given how its apps have been spying on us for over 25 years, Google already knows the age of the vast majority of its products (us). This measure is yet another in the vast experiment of citizens #domestication and #subjugation undertaken by the fiat world.
Let's use the many privacy-focused replacements for Google's search engine, like #Presearch (that rewards our searches), #Startpage, #Mojeek or #SearX, and the LLM interfaces that don't gift our data to the companies behind them 😀.
