Agreed! I have actually never had any debt (I mean, more than for 2 or 3 months).
But what about the situation post-GFC, where from 2012 to 2020 interest rates on debts were almost at 0% (and were sometimes negative!). Do you think that in such a context, debt must also be avoided?

In that context, strategic debt could’ve made sense for investments with solid returns. Near-zero rates basically begged for leverage if you had a clear plan. Still, I’d be cautious—cheap debt can still bite if things go south
