Vibes Web3 Music Competition: A Week of Pure Energy and Originality

Hello there, guys! It's the Vibes Web3 Music Competition, and you know what it is... vibes on vibes on vibes! Trust me when I say the contestants didn’t come here to play—at least, not this week. The week is coming to an end, and I’m like, why?? Because I wish it could go on, especially with the beautiful entries I’m seeing in the community.

This week's theme revolves around early 2000s vibes. Various artists are killing it, and it’s amazing to watch just how perfect they are. My eyes can't have enough! At the same time, a lot of entries we've seen are testifying about the goodness of the Lord. Now, that's a lovely trend—a really intriguing one, I must confess.

So yes, this week feels special with the trend of gospel songs in the air. Guess what? I also saw an original entry by an artist, @tahram:

Now, this was quite a unique performance because it perfectly fit the description of “vibes,” and that’s what this community is all about, right? I watched the performance over and over again. What the artist did here wasn’t something to look down on because it takes confidence to create a piece like that. Oh! And let’s not forget—it’s an original. I can’t do what he did, to be honest. And by the way, we all know how it feels to release an original song to the prying eyes of the public, right? The validation and acceptance from the audience are something to consider since it’s not a popular, well-known song that we all recognize—not your regular Chris Brown/Usher kind of hits.

He had me bopping my head while listening to his piece. His bodily expressions exuded confidence and a sort of warmth that’s somewhat inexplicable. I praise him for such a beautiful display of originality. We all like original artists, don’t we?

The lyrics were nice and elevating—the type that puts a smile on your face while watching. Kudos to this artist for representing the Vibes community with such a lovely performance.

If you were to ask me, he deserves a spot among the top 10 artists in this week's entries. His performance wasn’t the regular type you see around, and that’s something I always factor in when listening to an artist.

It’s almost the end of the week, if not already, and well, we’ve seen just enough entries to create a spark of satisfaction within us. I really hope to see this week’s winners—it’ll be a tough one, but someone has to win regardless.
