A Soulful Sunday: Reviewing @trevor-el25’s Inspiring Cover of 'Ven Ven Ven'

It's a great day to praise the Lord. I mean, that's what Sundays are dedicated for, right? I've seen lots of praise entries in this community—at least, for this week—and it really aligns with the last Sunday of the month. Week 33 is somewhat different from others. Singing a song in a language that isn't your primary language is intriguing, and @trevor-el25 did a perfect job in this. His cover of the once trending song "Ven Ven Ven" sent chills down my spine.

If you remember vividly, about last year or last two years, this song was the order of the day—on the TV, radio stations, roadside speakers, and so many more. To be honest, I wasn't really expecting a cover of this song from anyone, so as soon as I saw the title and thumbnail, I jumped into it, and guess what? I didn't regret laying my eyes on it.

The guitar playing was smooth, the voice and even the location—I least expected the cover of a song in a car. Everything about the song came with an expectation, and he lived up to it. Let's not forget the fact that today is a Sunday, at least in my region, so it's really what I need to hear on a calm blessed day as this.

I love how he goes ahead to translate the song into English. I feel that's really dope and quite thoughtful of him. I'll rate the video 8/10.

Big thumbs up to him for doing a cover as good as this. He's doing quite well. Well, the ending of the week is already here, and all we can do at this point is just to watch and prepare our fingers to vote.
